 He might not remain until Autumn if his party thinks it's the wrong thing to do - he might have to go immediately, with his deputy Raab standing in for the interim.

I think David Cameron and Boris Johnson has been two of the very worst prime ministers Britain has ever had.   David Cameron seemed decent enough until the way he introduced and handled the Brexit referendum.  It later appeared he only introduced it in order to get re-elected and to prevent some sort of rebellion with the right wing of the party.  That although to begin with he took a neutral stance he later revealed himself to be someone completely opposed to it and that had always been completely opposed to it.  The lie was that he was taking a neutral stance to begin with.  And then came Boris Johnson who it turned out in hindsight was just a political opportunist, was not really at heart a Brexiter but used it as a political opportunity to get more power.  During this period we have had two of the worst  opposition leaders - Ed Miliband and Jeremy Corbyn.   Looking at the current quality of MP in parliament it is not clear things are going to get much better.  What is needed are pragmatists and people with competence and clear talkers who don't bullshit and keep the rabid media and journalists in  their place rather than sort of bending the knee  to them for "good" publicity.

Don't know is the clear winner.  As long as Don't Know is not a war-monger prepared to send Britain into economic and military oblivion against Russia (and China and India who are now being described as the new axis of evil forces - you are either against Russia or you are against us rhetoric) and stops sending UK taxpayers billions to Britain's Weapons Industries (with the political classes getting kick backs) to modernize and replace Britain's old Military Equipment while sending all the old military equipment to Ukraine to be sold on the black market, then I will be giving my vote to Don't Know.

It was amusing when none of the 5, on the first debate, said they would have Boris in their cabinet.

I would prefer her (marginally) but I reckon he will get it.

Neither have mentioned the levelling up promise that helped to get the Cons the northern vote in the last general election.
They pledged to plough billions into the north, as for too long we have been the poor neighbours re investment.

The mayor of greater Manchester is saying if they don't honour their manifesto promise, if they do a turnaround on what was promised, a general election should be called.

Problem with that is...Labour are just as bloody useless.
