The more you read, and there are so many people she's hurt and betrayed along the way, the more you realise what a self aggrandizing schemer she is.

She fell out with her father because he wouldn't ostracize his two other children at her command. She wanted him to have no more contact with them in case it jeopardized her chances with Harry. But when the Palace ordered her not to reveal her relationship with Harry too soon she ignored it and blabbed in her interview with Vanity Fair that she and Harry were deeply in love and an item. That blew the lid off everything and the next thing her whole family were being stalked by the paparazzi and hunted down for interviews. Her brother sold their father's address to the paps, and then her dad got bombarded. So, after demanding that her whole family keep their gobs shut, she lets the cat out of the bag anyway. She did it just to have the kudos of having her face on the front of Vanity Fair magazine.

And yet she's gone the way of all these social climbers. In the self absorbed quest to get what they most desire, they forget that someone, somewhere, somehow, will already be compiling a dossier on them. This book has been in the making for some time. It does seem that no matter how big the celeb, or how manipulative they and their team are...eventually, the nice people are shown to be nice, and the nasties are shown to be exactly that.
