Bill Leckie who writes in the Scottish Sun has made the point that at the funerals of Princess Diana and The Queen Mother the crowds were actually there and watched events unfold through their own eyes but yesterday in the Capital,  so many captured the moment her Majesty's coffin passed them through their phones.

Would you have recorded the moment or would you have put your phone in your pocket and watched through your eyes and not a screen?

So few truly in the moment as thousands glued to phones filming Queen's coffin in Edinburgh | The Scottish Sun

I don't have a mobile phone, and this is one of the reasons why.
Life is so much better lived 'live'....watching it endless times through a small screen afterwards cannot compare.

It is known as the screen generation.  People walking into roads, ditches, lamp posts, rivers willingly.

I've come to realize that most videos are sort of boring to rewatch, and very few people want to see them.

I can see taking a picture or two and putting the phone away.

I enjoy Facebook memories that post pictures I posted on whatever particular day it is, since I started Facebook.

Those pictures remind me of what the moment was 8, 10 or 12 years ago.

It's all about balance. You can experience the moment and take a few pictures to record the moment too.

Might answer some questions.  Or just create more.

All of the security video of people entering and leaving that building would also answer some questions..
