He was very ill and suddenly just stopped posting in June He has not even lurked where we were chatting. So if you could refrain from your normal "you have a secret and know better" unless you actually do, that would be great.

It was a small quiet private forum with around 6 people on that slowly dwindled to three of us just chatting and checking in every couple of days.

You wouldn't have heard as he wasn't posting anywhere else.

I could be wrong but wasn’t there another BG (definitely not Backgammon) quite a while back, who kept at least one, if not more, very large dog in his tiny apartment, with which he seemed to have a very …um….unconventional relationship?

Used to make me want to chuck up every time he posted

If it's BD, then anyone who knew him knew he neglected himself terribly. He's not posted on here for years.

Thanks Yep - that’s the guy I meant, and who I thought Jack may have been referring to.

IIRC, he used to proudly say he rarely ever walked his dog/s. He just came across as someone blissfully enjoying a squalid lifestyle. Takes all sorts, I guess …

Rolly is talking about backgammon BG,. i know this because Rolly, BG and I were the last three posting on the little forum and then BG stopped posting in June after being very ill for a while Rolly and I have been worried. Rolly in his worry has asked here if anyone has seen him as he would rather BG be an arsehole who has done a pretend death than a real one.

I think it's pretty clear BG is no longer with us.and that's very sad.

I just assign gender in my head from posting style and profile pictures. I have no idea if they are a man or woman and it isn't the point.
