I'm so sorry JD.
I hope it comforts you to know that your mum died peacfully, and hearing your voice, and the music she loved, would have made her last moments comforting.

Citizens Advice could perhaps offer help JD.
Cherish the last time you spoke to your mum. My own experience is, I told my own mum I loved her, she repled in kind, that was the last time we spoke. The following morning she died, I was on my way back to see her, but I didn't make it in time.
I felt I had let her down at the end....but the fact that we exchanged those last words together has been a great comfort. Telling someone you loved them, just before they pass, has to be the nicest thing anyone can say, or hear.
Sometimes it's just better to let go of the situation you have told us about regarding your brother. If you can't actually do anything about it, then let it go. The main thing is your mum and dad are at peace, you never have to see the people who have hurt you so much again if you don't want to, and it's time to move on with your life and stop dwelling on what you cannot change.

You are probably right.
I am so very glad Dad never knew what I would go through after he passed.
