I signed the petition, it's too slow. Driving in 3rd gear! Coming to a road near you.

I was driving in 30 mph zone, then, within two feet it changed to 20 with a camera there! I was lucky I saw it, how many didn't? 🙁

We got rid of cameras in Texas (for the police anyway).

Our 20 mph zones are school zones only..

Can't people see how we are being slowly but surely bullied into submission by an almost communist regime?

I agree, yet we do nothing.  Whatever happened to marches etc.  Slowly but surely we are all being brainwashed and slapped down if we disagree!

There is quite a campaign to get people out of their cars in Greater Manchester.

Bike lanes causing long queues where traffic used to free flow, with hardly any bikes using them....they are all on the roads.

No zone areas for cars, which trick people because the signs are hardly visible, so thousands unknowingly drive into them and get tickets (me included)

Ridiculous car park charges in and around Manchester.

Yep.   That's the way it's going.

Just been talking to a couple of district nurses and they are really struggling with this!
They have a long day of house visits for all manner of nursing jobs in the community...
a community that is huge in area around here.
It is impossible for them to get to all their calls right now due to the 20 mph limit.
Most of them are ignoring it and their union is getting geared up to fight in the courts.

I'm guessing fire engines/ambulances/etc are exempt?

Joking aside, it would be faster on horseback.

I know folks that can average more than 20 on their bicycle.

Now Khant wants a toll to cross Rotherhithe and Blackwell tunnel. That's already a very busy road, can you imagine? People have to cross when night work etc, no other transport, especially deliveries so have to drive. £4 there and £4 back, bloody sick of that Khant!
