Our sons birthday is 15th December, we have always put the decorations up then.


OH always puts lights on a huge tree in the front garden, but he had a bad fall off a ladder this summer, so though he is insisting he will do the tree as normal again this year, I am dreading it.
I will probably be at the base of the ladder trying to help, and no doubt if he falls again, it'll be me ending up in hospital this time. bored

I worked with a friend whose sons birthday was 18th December. Like you they never did the free til after.

 A few days before Christmas is a good time to put them up imo.

Mind you, we always leave ours up till 12th night....as is tradition. I know some put theirs up in November, and take them down on Boxing day.

Crisps are my other weakness, I love crisps.

Not to brag, but I am pretty artistic and creative, so how come I cannot wrap presents nicely?

I even struggle with square boxes. just not capable of getting neat finishes.xr

 That's actually a blessing Syl.

Cause I am good at wrapping presents and every year I get loads dumped on me.

I had six folks presents one year plus my own!!

I got my dad a book for his Christmas, it contains funny answers that were given in Scotland on exam papers.

One...name three traditional Scottish dishes...

Not long back from taking Shorty for a walk and two folk have their Christmas Tree's up!!

Oh and one of my neighbours has five Chihuahua dugs, yappy wee gits all pop up one at a time and bark at us!!
