on Eco mode this cutting edge ceramic heating device 1800W costs 40p an hour to run or £2.43 a day to run. There is a current 20% discount. They are £59.00 per unit. This is truely amazing. It's far better than central heating .My smart meter display is showing a massive drop in energy use
I felt it really necessary to post about this as it saves a shed load of cash off energy bills and could be a life saver for elderly realtives and those on a low income who are scared to put their heating on.I posted it on another forum but the post wasn't allowed.
Just to repeat myself again i have a smart meter display unit which you plug into the wall and it shows my energy useage and since i turned off my front room radiator it's showing a massive drop in my energy use.
This cutting edge tech needs to be promoted as it will end deaths due to fuel poverty and the need for warm hubs and some in remote areas having to undergo long journeys just to keep warm. This will give middle class families room to breath and to take their kids away on holiday etc.
I have a one bed flat so i don't need more than one unit. For people who live in bigger homes you could get more than one and turn off the radiators completely.
This new concept is along the same lines as air fryers.Gas boilers are pollutants.Since the ubits are quite cheap i can understand why the main energy companiees are having jitters as this new tech.It will dent their profits and our heating etc will be taken out of their control.
The central heating here where my partner and i live is really old and naff. There is no temp control via the radiators it's full blast and then turn off when either one of us feels too hot.My partner likes it colder and i always liked to be more warm
We have been together for 24 years.
Most of our argunents are related to the thermostat wars which is now easily resolved by using the remote to go between 210c and 22oc on eco mode. It's easier to respond to each of us needs.
If people are interested, they can compare different models.

Thankyou very much for your time.
Air fryers are not new technology.
Look in your airfryer and you'll see a good old fashioned electric hob ring at the top and a fan at the bottom.
