King Charles diagnosed with cancer.

"The King has been diagnosed with a form of cancer, Buckingham Palace has announced.

The Palace confirmed the disease, which is not prostate cancer, was discovered while the King was being treated in hospital for an enlarged prostate.

The King has started a schedule of regular treatments, but has been advised to postpone his public-facing duties.

The Palace declined to confirm the type of cancer."

BBC had a breaking news story along the lines of "Prince Harry has spoken to King Charles and will travel to the UK in the coming days"

 

I am hoping that the King abdicates along with Prince William and then this nation gets what it deserves:  King Hazza and Queen Meghan.

Sad. I have to say I've never seen Charles live to be very old.

Hope they can get it under control. If they could operate they would, so it's chemo or radiology. Not a cure.

my sister was cured by having part of her bowel

removed.  The amateur musings of know-alls on a forum does not help.

 Bowel cancer is one of the cancers that, if caught early, is curable.

During the covid epidemic lockdowns and post-lockdowns people had difficulty getting seen and investigated resulting in many more deaths due to cancer.   Now the NHS has been disrupted by strikes due to rising inflation.   Rising inflation is to a large degree the result of Government Policy to sanction Russia and others that provided cheap natural resources: energy, grain, fertilizer ....  Our politicians called it the Putin price hike to ensure blame lay elsewhere.
