Just signed up for 13 quid a month.

I got a working download button straight off.

I thought I'd be able to download music but no only video.

The idea was to put stuff on USB sticks for in the motor.

Not even what I would call a real download as you don't get a choice where to download to.

It goes into your YouTube account.

I downloaded an album and the only video was a still of the album cover.

Impossible to put on a USB stick or anything else.

What the download means is when I'm offline I can watch my downloads and I get an add free YouTube and that's it.

My pc is never offline why would it be?

So after the first download I cancelled.

A quid was removed from my bank account and I still get a months free trial but that will only be the add free stuff because there's now nothing I want to download!

For music, pay for Amazon premium.

I don't download songs because they are always available as long as I have my phone.

Over here, Youtube premium is like Netflix. It's it's used to watch TV shows and the like..

My truck doesn't have a CD player.

But I like the idea of having a million songs (maybe?) at my disposal wherever I am anyway.

And I have pod casts if I'm not in the mood for music.

But typically I watch those at home..

Not much use to me as I don't watch tv shows.

I might give A mazon a try they've mithered me enough.

Just realised I'm already an Amazon prime member but I've only used it for free deliveries.
Just had a look and see you can't actually download music as such and I purposely go out without a phone and don't really intend changing that just now.

 I'd rather go out naked..

Of course I'm always going somewhere.

Sort defeats the purpose of having one if I can't use where I spend 80% of my waking hours..

I'm at my dentist right now using my phone to type this.

Yeah I understand that but I sit in the doctors waiting room and stare at the walls... those quiet empty moments have gone from so many peoples lives and I feel they are essential moments to be savoured.

I sometimes pick up a copy of Cheshire life or Woman's Own to peruse.

I see all the glowing near hypnotised faces around me and it can't be good for them.

I understand why people have become so enamoured of them but endless 24/7 connected isn't for me.

I've never liked phones.

It can feel quite liberating leaving the world behind.

People phone my wife and ask where I am... I don't know she says... has he left his mobile home again? Yes I can hear it ringing in the house (she's usually in the garden)

What if something happens to him? He says things have been happening to him all his life. Tell him I think he's irresponsible and ignorant... he'll only agree with you.

Its not about hating technology, but taking a break and embracing more ancient ideas now and then..

One is Japanese and called a misogi. It's basically attempting a difficult task to reset your brain..
