I feel short changed when I find the chocolate egg to be hollow. Maybe they should be solid chocolate or have some interesting filling (e.g. alcohol and marzipan and cream).
I think Easter is supposed to be a celebration rather than a commemoration - a celebration of the resurrection of the Christ - that converted a sad tale of the death of a reformist Rabbi in the middle east into a Religion of Hope to the poor, the downtrodden, the common soldier, the common farmer of ancient Europe, the Middle East and parts of Asia.
