I phoned Friday to get  a dermatologist appointment.  Was given this morning!  How good.is that?  They looked at the mark on my face and decided to cut it.out.

Now I'm terrified of injections, so panicked. 😲 I squeezed the nurses hand tight, and the bloody needle hurt, ouch. Nurse said you can breathe now, I was holding my breath 😩 Then he took it out, one stitch all done!  At least I made them laugh.

Coming out, security officers were standing around a man sitting down, who then got up tried to run, so 5 set about holding him down on the floor.

I said is that really necessary. The man was calling for help and get the police.

Anyway my hub and a woman walked over, the guards stood back, and they gently got him to sit.on the chair.

I walked up and got him to control his breathing, he was panicking. They said they wanted him in AanE.. He said I'm not being pushed there. I said if we walk with you, will you go, he said yes. So I walked beside him, my hub and security guard behind. He thanked us. I settled him him then left.

I'm disgusted the treatment he got. They said he was mentally ill, didn't look it to me, his speech was coherent, and he had phoned his daughter. Terrible way to treat him, no matter what his mind is.

I'm so glad you got quick and simple treatment Mags, our NHS deserve the praise when they get it right, and they so often do, we just hear aboot the times they get it wrong.

And you were so kind to help the man when you yourself would have been under stress.
It does sound like they were being heavy handed with him, but maybe they had had previous dealings with him.

Thanks Syl. I'm tired now.  Just had loads of family come up, was great, but need a rest now.

Yes thats why I put it here, I couldn't thank them enough.  We moan quick enough, so wanted to say how good NHS was.

As far as the man went, I just felt too many on top of him.  Ahh he was looking at me shouting and begging for help.  I couldn't walk away.    Anyway all's well that ends well. 😊

So many people look the other way when it looks like someone needs help, well done to you for not ignoring him. x

 Good on ya Mags.

My NHS experiences have been mostly positive but

according to the media that is not what is supposed to happen.

Exactly.  I really can't fault the treatment I received.
