Yes Maddog the American president is supposed to care about other people and the countries they reside in. Are you supposed to care about other people, especially those in poverty and more vulnerable than your good self. But since its the American taxpayer paying for the needless tariffs including the threatened 200% one (!) he doesn't seem to care about the financial welfare of his own people. He doesn't allow peaceful protest against his new legislation, arresting students and ceasing funds to the university where they take place. He is a power mad bully and dictator. He certainly doesn't care about your grandchildren or the crumbling world they may have to inhabit hence why he denies the reality of climate change. Just because it doesn't make him money. He is a felon and you don't know who he may turn on next or why. I'm pleased you want him because no other country would have him!

I do think some people claim benefits who could be working, but I fear the criteria the Labour Party will adopt to get people on benefits back into work will put pressure on the genuine disabled and sick.

 There is a very large pool of people on sickness benefits - some can't work, some can work, and many don't want to work. How the hell is this governement going to determine who is who?

It's going to be a very expensive, resource hogging process, and the end results will be poor because Labour's taxes have ensured there are now fewer vacancies to go around. Any half decent job will be inundated with applications, and very few employers will overlook a decent candidate in favour of someone just off long term sickness benefits.

I heard some poor woman on the radio who has epilepsy after being hit by a car as a child. She is absolutely terrified that she may be forced into a menial job, and terrified that she may have a seizure outside of familiar surroundings.

Meanwhile, £8 million a day on asylum seekers.
