I got rid of Netflix (never found much worth watching for age) the very day this came out...which is irritating.
I will watch it as soon as it's shown elsewhere.

I watched the vid Maddog posted.

Men now are going through what women have been through for centuries. Thanks to the internet, they have to wait to be picked...and if they are not picked, because they are not good looking enough, not smart enough etc...some turn into woman haters, or incels, which is a word I hear a lot now, but had no idea what it meant a few years ago.

It all boils down to sex at the end of the day, women can handle not getting it a lot better than men can.

So, does anyone know the answer?? cos I dont.

The answer is difficult.

I just get very nervous when a bunch of government employees decide they know what's best, when they can't even figure out if that fella with a penis is a girl or a boy..

This is what happens when you promote this sort of nonsense, while ignoring rape gangs.

I lose all faith in the institution..

Well they do say that life goes round in circles, and it would be great if those days came around again, but it was all pre internet, so I doubt they ever will.

The answer is difficult.

The gang rapes are still going on...and Starmer (our leader ) is confused about which sex has a cervix.....but all that aside, I still think showing material like this to senior school classes, in the presence of responsible adults, has to help not hinder.

I get the feeling if someone pleases or displeases him, be it on a personal level (like not grovelling enough) or a political level....those tariffs could shoot up or down very quickly.

The hatred and disdain of women on the internet amongst the "manosphere" has been toxic for many years. I'm just suprised it has taken this long to enter the society consciousness. You're not missing much. I watched it because of the hype and how amazing it was supposed to be. What you see is parents who can't control their kids, kids who tell teachers to fuck off, kids stamping around and being 'misunderstood', and a white kid in the male lead where nobody kicks off because there's no 'diversity' in the lead role. God forbid an actor of colour would be hired to portray a a psycho knife wielding little shit.

No doubt this series will walk away with awards amid much applause from the woke leftie luvvies who'll feel all justified in loathing British white males and all they stand for.

And what does it say about our Government when this is the drivel Keir Starmer wants touted round schools as the flagship example of what's wrong with male youth?

The 10% tariff on us and Australia (who have virtually no tariffs on the US and a FTA) shows that these are not reciprocal tariffs but anything Trump considers to be a trade barrier leading to a trade imbalance. He's had the hump about VAT (and GST in Australia) for a while so this is retaliation to the perceived unfairness, even though they apply to both domestic and imported goods equally.

It's not great but not a disaster either. I think we can let Trump and the MAGA goon squad take the win publicly but hammer out a deal privately. We can then strengthen ties with other nations at the same time as we need to place less reliance on the US in the future.

I can't see the close relationship we have had for decades with the US being healed in the next 4 years...their government simply can't be trusted.
Starmer and Co will have to be as devious as they are, and at the same time build bridges with the EU again.

Anyway, in news that will surprise exactly no one the Treasury Cabinet Secretary was doing the media round this morning. He said that the Government will be reaching out to the US to negotiate a deal, which is expected. It's not really in anyone's interests to get into extended retaliations. Hopefully we can string out the negotiations to see how things progress globally and make deals with other countries so we are not reliant on the US.

He also said that the era of globalisation is at an end, there will be economic difficulties ahead and that fast fashion and cheap TVS will be a thing of the past. I think higher prices will suck but maybe it will make consumers far more discriminating about what they buy and from what companies.

It will be interesting for me at least to see what happens with Apple products as my family are all locked into the Apple ecosystem with iPhones / Macs / Ipads / watches etc. I saw something which said in the US at least prices may rise over 40%. That would take a base level IPhone from $1000 to $1400. If we see anything like that here I may switch to Samsung or Xiomi as don't think I could justify the price difference simply to have an Apple product.

Reeves has just come out with a classic - she's telling families and businesses 'We've got your back' LoL. I'm sure the businesses that are having to close or families that will struggle to buy food or pay the bills feel much better now.

I don't believe a single word that comes out of that woman's gob. it's just more empty words like 'smash the gangs', 'we won't tax the working man', or 'we're going to build 1.5m new homes'

They just say things that they think people want to hear - it's all smoke and mirrors, with little or no substance

They are empty words I'm afraid.

I guess it's more comforting than the unpalatable reality that living standards will stagnate and probably continue falling for the foreseeable future and more spending cuts will be here in the Autumn.

The one potential benefit to us of Trump's idiotic trade war is that investors will want a safe place to park their money and will find the UK a good place to do so. If Trump starts moving towards tariffs on services however things will change.

Yeah, we are pretty good at services, so wouldn't want that going tits up.

The by-election on May 1st is going to be massive - much more important than I think most realise
