What a fucking idiot this man is.

"In the latest confirmation of George Orwell's prescient genius, Sir Keir Starmer yesterday gave us a masterclass in duplicitous doublethink.

The Prime Minister, who once failed to state unequivocally what was meant by a 'woman', is now struggling with another two-syllable noun: 'worker'.

In an interview, the PM said he defined a working person as someone who is 'anxious about whether they can make ends meet'.

A worker should only be able to 'maybe save a bit of money', he emphasised.

Someone would be considered a worker if they 'don't have the wherewithal to write a cheque to get out of difficulty' and also have an 'anxiety in the bottom of their stomach' about money, he went on.

In other words, a worker is only someone who is living almost hand-to-mouth and is in the lowest economic bands."

DAILY MAIL COMMENT: An insult to all working people

The man is an absolute moron.

Reeve's budget should be interesting on Wednesday.
A lot of working class and elderly people will be much worse off under this Labour government.

They should change their name, they bear no resemblance to the Labour Party most of us older generation recognise.

Starmer sold out to the WEF billionaire millowners at Davos.

The very people the Labour party were formed to fight against and that's why they are now unrecognisable as a Labour government.

The Labour part I do recognise is the rescuing of the NHS from Tory mismanagement and having to spend billions on that rescue.

Broken Britain today.

On this Remembrance Sunday.
Two events happened this morning in London....a triple stabbing, one man dead. A triple shooting one man dead.

"Officers were called to to reports of a number of people stabbed in East Street in Walworth at about 10:40 BST on Sunday.

Three injured people were found with one man dying at the scene. The two other people - a man and a woman - were taken to hospital for treatment and their condition is unknown.

A man, believed to be in his 60s, was arrested at the scene."

"A man has been killed and two other people were injured in a shooting in London - with one of the survivors found with gunshot wounds to her legs."

East St was known as East Lane, when I was a kid.   My mum used to get us hot Sarsparella and roasted chestnuts over a fire up the Lane. I often went up there with mates.

Different place now, such a bloody shame.  All the changes,  and not for the better.

So many places were considered poor and working class.. The working classes back then were what Starmer imagines  the working  classes are today,  he is wrong obviously.

Because back then people looked out for each other, they didn't walk round looking to see who they could harm.

Very true Syl.  Mum worked up the lane, so when I grew up and went shopping there, I was known by so many and looked after.

Neighbours looked after other peoples kids, they also chastised them if they were doing wrong, nowadays everyone is scared to speak out if they see kids misbehaving.
I came from a big city, it was friendly and people felt safe...at least safe from strangers. I never felt afraid walking through town alone at night....I would now.

When I was 6 we moved to flats.  Everyone knew each other's kids.  We kids played in the square all together.   There was always people looking over the balcony.  Very safe then.

Especially here in Wales where there are mostly small family farms and those families don't just make up community they are the community.

A lot of people are already missing the corrupt bone idle Tory lot!

This will force some farmers to sell, and will increase the cost of products grown in the UK. It's like a tariff on domestic products..

Protests in the NW today too.
Starmer is a liar, this will affect thousands of farmers, he is making these horrendous cutbacks and money grabbing schemes, then cooking the books to pretend they will only affect the well off, which is a blatant lie.

Obviously this will have a devastating effect of the none farming community too, because everything from milk to meat will start to rise faster than expected.
The next thing will be shortages, this government make Thatchers government look empathetic.

I wonder how many labour voters are now realising their mistake

 Millions I would bet.

This Labour government is worse than any government in living memory, not least, because they are stabbing the very people the Labour party are supposed to represent, in the back.

Here is one of the headlines today. A couple in their 70's, too scared to turn their heating on even though it's -1 c.
They are a few ££ over the limit for them to receive pension credit, as are millions more.

Also, this government don't seem to understand or care that millions of older people have worked hard all their lives, never relying on of benefits, so they don't want to end their lives reliant on monthly handouts...they have pride.

The one-off winter fuel payment, which has been paid to pensioners since 1997, enabled many to afford to NOT die of the cold or go hungry in the harsh winters like the one we are facing right now.

It's -1°C and I'm too scared to turn on my heating

A true Labour politician has died today, John Prescott. Love him or hate him, his values were very different to the shower that are in power now.
