l felt sorry for him when he lost his son, and he possibly did believe Dodi had a chance with Diana, probably more wishful thinking that fact on his part.
To me he always seemed like a little sleazy man, something about him gave off that vibe.

Why the hell people don't speak out at the time, rather than wait years then come out as a group, always mystifies me.

As is often the case with victims of sexual offenders, especially when the offender holds a position of power or authority, it's because of fear.

Yes that's true, he was a very powerful man, they were young women, possibly reliant on the job.

But....at least one has admitted she was paid well for her silence. So, if you accept payment, for whatever reason, you have left others open to abuse, so you don't really have the moral ground to start complaining years later after the man is dead.

It does also beg the question, why did all the senior management at Harrods enable all this to happen?

Seems they are on a par with the BBC for covering up abuse of the vulnerable.

I haven't read that anywhere Jack.

I read he made the girls have STD checks to ensure they were not infected.

No job would require that...other than prostitution, maybe?

Why did these women allow it? and why did they accept presents?

What happened to common sense, self-preservation and instinct, me and millions others had it from being young teens.

I'm not blaming the girls obviously, he is 100% the monster he is being portrayed as, but sometimes women have to protect themselves more.

Considering the fact that Starmer was head of the CPS in the years Saville, the nationwide Muslim groomers, and now Fayed were acting out their vile crimes, all which were investigated by police and presented to the CPS....he seemed to be quite unaware of how many women and girls were being preyed upon by serial groomers and rapists.

None of these were deemed to be valid enough to face trial by the CPS.
