Maddog said ... People born now may live 100 years.
I doubt it. Generally people's lifestyles are far less active than previous generations. Food is filled with God knows what, people eat too much processed ready made rubbish, and depression is at an all time high in both men and women. Add to that half the population here and where you are, are overweight...I imagine not many people born today will reach 100 years old.
They might be growing new bodies to replace our old ones in 50 years..
Just pop an old head on a new body and your good for another 50 years 🤷
A woman has just had a head transplant, it was in the news this week.
Edit...
I looked for a link and can't find anything. OH hasn't seen any news on this...maybe I dreamt it.

Here's Maddog in ten years time... the old man snuck in when he took his eye off the ball!
His first comments were correct. I'll watch the rest later, but I bet he's going to repeat what most folks say now. There's a pretty good consensus on this stuff.
And if he's really a centenarian, i got a long way to go. Much more than 10 years..
“We found that for each 10% increase in total calories from ultraprocessed foods, the risk of dying prematurely rose by nearly 3%,” said Monteiro, who coined the term “ultraprocessed” in 2009 when he developed NOVA, a system of classifying foods into four groups by their level of processing.

Just one of the comments...
Nutrition and quality is already way down. Our foods are making us sick. There's already giant corporations trying to patent seeds then filling people's farms with them to use as a law suite to destroy their business. We each need to become the owners of the means of production and take part in rights to repair, fight against planned obsolescence, practice privacy and participate in open source. This is our world, we make these systems, we can make them better.
Same is happening in the U.K and parts of Europe... everything must become part of the giant corporate machine!
