18 year old Bella Culley could face 20 years in jail in Georgia where she's been charged with smuggling cannabis. Got to feel for her, being held in the hell-hole Tbliisi Prison no 5

I’ve no sympathy for this thicko either. Idiots abroad:

“A British father allegedly found with £2,000 cocaine in Dubai has been sentenced to four decades behind bars in a 'hellhole' jail.

Sam Dorman, 33, from Glossop, Derbyshire, was taken into custody following a police operation earlier this month.”  https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14718009/British-father-Dubai-jail-YEARS-cocaine.html

Prisons aren’t meant to be holiday centres. Pity the UK doesn’t follow suit with the sentencing and conditions wink

You've got to be a special kind of stupid to sell drugs in a middle eastern country like Saudi.    No more prancing about on TikTok in his posing pouch.

lolOh there'll be prancing, just not the type he's used to.

These articles make me laugh, as though we're all supposed to demand their immediate release. The stupid bint flashing her wads of cash on social media then claiming not to know what she was going. My arse.

I hope they both enjoy a long and leisurely stay.

No one should be treated like an animal, and it sounds like this prison does just that.

But...it doesn't sound like she was duped, going off her online profile she was trouble, and now she has found it. She is young, but old enough to know smuggling drugs is not a good way to earn the money she felt she needed.

But how else can a poor trainee nurse afford to wear Van Cleef & Arples around her neck? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Well spotted Vam, she looks more Claire Accessories to me so perhaps it's a knock-off...fur coat no knickers type.

The milk of kindness floweth freely here! I have to agree it was particularly ill thought out. But cannabis is legal in many places. They are substances that alter mood and grew naturally on the earth b4 we existed. Far worse crimes exist.

She's only 18 and training to be a nurse so yes I feel sorry for her. Cannabis is legal in some places, crime should not be ambiguous. Why the shaming of her wearing a bikini?

At 18 young people were flying Spitfires over England to save us from invasion in WW2.   She's stupid and can only see as far as her next selfie. You might expect to see all that pouting and silly posturing across social media from a 14 year old but an adult?    And she is an adult at 18.  You've only got to look at her see what she is.  Nothing to do with being in a bikini and more to do with the infantilization of a whole generation.  Trainee nurse?  Just goes to show how Micky Mouse our University degrees are these days.

As for cannabis being legal in some countries, what has that to do with anything?   If she didn't know the laws of the country she's in then she's a moron.  And doubly so as the silly cow is pregnant.   Now that poor kid could be born in prison, live in there for three years then be taken away from its mother.  She's ruined the lives of her family, her kid, and herself.  And what for?  Because, to quote her, "I don't want a boring life."

It was an absurdly stupid act. But cannabis is not heroin or cocaine and being pregnant clearly made her desperate. Whoever sent her knew it was a suicide mission. She was Probably manipulated and used so a smaller haul of a class A drug could get through.

You are so naive at 18 and she had no experience of the world. I'm not saying it wasn't wrong. But yes I feel sorry for a petrified pregnant 18yo in such a brutal prison for 20 years.

😂 Maybe! But I do have a keen eye for this kind of stuff - looks like the real deal to me 🤷🏻‍♀️

As an aside, my eyes widened a bit when I read that her loving dad is rushing from his home - in Vietnam - to support her. It set my ‘dodgy dealings‘ radar pinging, and I can’t help wondering why TF her dad lives Vietnam.

The fur coat no knickers comment. The Claire's accessories jibe. And how she is too old to be 'posing' on social media(at 18) and the only pic I saw was her in a bikini. Those comments are needless, irrelevant and cruel and I'm not sure what motivates them. But I assumed it was the pic.

"Successive U.S. administrations and Congress have failed to agree on measures to reverse the trend of large annual fiscal deficits and growing interest costs," Moody's added.

^It was just a matter of time before our credit rating was lowered..

My sympathies go to the young females out there denied an education, sex-trafficked etc...not some vacuous bling daubed wannabe now crying because she got caught trafficking drugs.

"Naive" my arse.

Fur coat no knickers, usually means someone who is all show. Claire's accessories jibe probably meant she looked a bit cheap, (in spite of her designer jewellery)

Personally, I thought she looked lovely in the bikini, her actions and remarks on social media make her look cheaper than anything she might wear.

So you missed the pic of her with a spliff in her mouth or maybe you missed the screenshot of bank notes? (all there in the original link).

Fur coat/Clairs comment: Nowt classy about a drug smuggler, even less so when bragging, getting caught, then playing the victim.

18 = an adult in the eyes of the law, UK. (Age of Majority)

Not sure what her intended profession has to do with anything. Should all drug smugglers be given a free pass if they want to be nurses?

I admit Syl that I haven't seen her comments on social media so was naive about her character. I assumed being pregnant had made her worried and with a need to obtain money not 'excitement '!! It still sounds like the bravado of youth, she will be frightened for the life of her child in that prison. I can't help but feel sorry for her in such a barbaric place for the next 2 decades, despite it being her own fault. It's sad she has thrown her life away.
