What is it with these idiots that go to unstable war-torn areas, mainly as tourists, and then complain and demand they are evacuated back to safety to the UK? https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cj6r6jz1p4lo
To be fair, only the people that went after the hostilities between Iran and Israel started are idiots. Prior to last week most of Israel was safer than Detroit..
It was, we have been a couple of times. So sad that we probably won't be going again.
I'd love to visit Israel. My friend went a few years ago and brought back these dates you can only get in Israel, they tasted like soft caramel. I've never tasted any dates that good.
Everything about it was brilliant, including the majority of the people we met.
We actually went to swim and scuba dive with wild dolphins...and did so quite a few times, had some of the best experiences of my life.
I'd have loved that, lucky you. My dad went to Jerusalem, he loved it 😊
We did too Mags, and Bethlehem, the exact place where Jesus was born. We bought my mum a mother-of-pearl bible there.
In Jerusalem, we were asked to make way for anyone who was walking the path of Jesus, and we did see one man. It was really touching.
"When someone walks the path Jesus is believed to have walked carrying the cross, it is called walking the Via Dolorosa. The Via Dolorosa, meaning "Way of Suffering" or "Way of Sorrows" in Latin, is a processional route in Jerusalem. It represents the path Jesus took from his condemnation to his crucifixion."

“A security review has been launched across UK military bases after pro-Palestinian activists broke into RAF Brize Norton and sprayed two military planes with red paint.
Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer condemned the action as "disgraceful", saying it was an "act of vandalism".
Footage posted online by Palestine Action on Friday showed two people inside the Oxfordshire airbase in darkness, with one riding on a scooter up to an Airbus Voyager and spraying paint into its jet engine.” https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cx24nppdx0lo
My answer would be to round up these so called “activists”, strip them of their assets to pay for damage caused and then drop kick them into Gaza where they can support their Palestinian buddies to their hearts content. Keep this crap off UK soil.
I’m alarmed re the security lapse at Brize Norton tbh.

Oh that's wonderful Syl. What a moving thing to see for a believer.

Disgusting. They should go to prison, get they don't.
My fellow Arsenal fans in Kenya bringing offerings for the Gods after winning a match, including what looks like a bottle of fabric conditioner and a tub of Polyfilla.

if only it would catch on over here!
Gawd, how I envy some people’s natural-born dancing rhythm! 👏🏻👏🏻

Can't you dance Vam? For some reason, I would have thought you would be pretty good doing the odd flamenco or cha -cha -cha.

😂 Not like them! Just look at that natural god-given rhythm some of them are blessed with - especially the 2 guys in blue jeans.
I can dance. But as the saying goes, I dance like nobody’s watching 💃🏻 😂
I'm sick of the stupid sentences they get and still can't report the nonces!
You’re going to love this short video Magica…
” Portsmouth Councillor speaks out tonight, telling how high ranking police officers messaged him at midnight this week to "keep his mouth shut" after a Muslim migrant, staying at a taxpayer funded hotel, raped a young girl in the city!”
If you’re feeling shocked and saddened to see trump playing at being a ‘war time President’, I suggest you avoid the news about a hot air balloon catching fire - with 21 people on board - in Brazil. Especially the video clips! 😢

No matter how beautifully serene they look when air-borne and the magnificent views they may offer there is no way in hell I’d put my dimpled bum cheeks into one of those.
It seems there more to it than just the above statue - there's another statue featuring the Queen and Prince Philip, a set of gates, gardens, and a glass bridge based on the design of the Queen's wedding tiara.
There's no set date for it to be completed and the cost is expected to be between £23m-£46m - the equivalent of housing asylum seekers for 3-5 days!
