Millionaire trophy hunter gored to death by 1.3 tonne bull on African safari”

“ Asher Watkins, 52, was tracking a 1.3 tonne Cape Buffalo bull, known as the Black Death, in the 50,000-acre Bambisana concession on Sunday when it suddenly charged at him at 35mph.

It slammed into the 52-year-old after becoming increasingly agitated and killed him almost instantly.

Asher, a ranch trader from Texas, said he believed hunting was a vital part of preserving wildlife, and has his social media filled with photos of him next to dead mountain lions and wildfowl.

While in Argentina he boasted of killing thousands of doves in just three days with friends.

A man of courage??? He was armed, hunting a defenceless animal fgs, what’s courageous about that? Whilst I have sympathy for a kid losing her father that’s where any sympathy ends. He deserved what he got.

The article pics of him gloating over his “courageous” kills sicken me. I loathe these people with a passion. Same goes for bull-fighters…and anyone else who kill animals for “sport”.

Obviously sympathy for his children, but I couldn't help thinking 'Good', as I read the article.

Cape Buffalo kill about 200 people a year.

It's always odd to me how stories like this blow up.

It's selective outrage/joy I guess..

I wonder if this Buffalo is going to Buffalo hell for killing another creature? 😉

Stories like this only get reported when the tables are turned and the hunter meets his match.
The pic that did the rounds a few years ago of the bulls horns impaling the matador, was equally as satisfying to me as this latest story.

But some poor African gets killed and no one cares. 🤷

They shrug their shoulders and eat another delicious bite of beef while claiming some sort of moral superiority because they don't engage in the killing of any animals

Not only did I witness the French actively shepherd migrant dinghies all the way from France to UK waters yesterday, but then they had the cheek to ask for all their life jackets back so they can repeat their facilitation of illegal crossings. Short vid of French request https://x.com/CPhilpOfficial/status/1953332713731027335

The French preparing for the next batch of lawyers and doctorswank

That breaks my heart. A beautiful animal's life cut short to satisfy the ego of an armed punk. Equally disgusting to see these hunters being hailed as heroes, courageous..

I'm glad to hear he died the way he did, a small amount of karma for all those animals brutally and cowardly killed.

Starmer spouts a load of shite. He's convinced himself he's "smashing" it. The armed forces need to get involved because nothing else is working, the Navy in the water and the Army on land.

I watched a video yesterday, it was either Spain or Greece, a boat dropped off these illegals a short distance from the shore who then swam to the beach and ran/disappeared into the crowds. How often is that happening here?

Very countries are now safe, they're invading everywhere...Starmer makes the UK easier for them.

Listen to the idiot now that his one out one in deal has started.

"When I say I will stop at nothing to secure our borders, I mean it."

Some are saying there may be legal challenges to do with human rights, which could mean we don't even get to play swapsies with France at all. Whether we swap none or a million, won't make any difference to the number of migrants here, but we're supposed to be pleased because that those France are swapping have 'family connections' in the UK. If anything, that's even worse ,as we're going to every long lost cousin, uncle and aunt queuing up to get in.

We're going to have these massive extended immigrant families everywhere, but it's ok because they are here legally and not illegally!

Surely him being such a hot-shot human rights bod he will have sorted all that out beforehand? (rhetorical). Whilst he’s got a hole in his arse Red he won’t stop the illegals and like you say it’s not just a question of “1 in 1 out“ each one will have extended families applying.

I’m sick of him spouting Palestine guff whilst, for example, civvies in Bournemouth feel they have to finance and band together and set up patrols because crime is off the scale. He needs to be reminded whose interests he’s supposed to be looking after, it certainly isn’t mine or yours atm.

Poland is looking very attractive.

I feel the way same Anon. So he killed these beautiful animals for no reason. To just pose with and then what? I don't think that's permitted in this country but then we don't have the same kind of wildlife. That animal looks feline, cats of any kind should never be hurt let alone slain. It's not "courageous" to kill anything, crazyespecially wildlife in its own habitat just trying to survive.

I can't pretend to be glad the man has passed because I'm just not. It would be a very painful scary way to go too. Obviously his family will mourn him and I'm sorry for their loss. I just wish he had decided to stop hunting animals for fun or sport or whatever reason he did it for. He won't be hunting anymore now, that's for sure.

I believe that Starmer and Cooper have decided the news media can reveal the ethnicity of attacks made on women as many people are worried that the Muslim male migrants don't share the same western beliefs and there have been a few prolific attacks on young girls by migrants.

The police tried to cover the ethnicity up if was a migrant as a proportion of British men tended to get a tad annoyed , shall we say, if they discovered the attacker was Brown or in particular a brown migrant.

At least there is transparency now and the police are being honest with the public.I do agree with some of Starmer's policies but others just leave me totally baffled wondering if he's been on the Strongbow at lunch.
