God knows why women get involved with men like this. I suspect in some cases they are too scared to leave once he has them snared.

I'd factor in jealousy of the newborn getting mum's attention. Many cases of DA have been reported to have started during pregnancy / after the birth of a child. Hard to leave when you and your baby are so vulnerable plus being financially dependent is a big reason also. I loathe male abusers with a passion, witnessed too many women and their kids traumatised.

I wonder how this will turn out. Harry now being accused, with others, of harassment, bullying, misogyny and misogynoir by the head of a charity, "Sentebale".

"She [Dr Chandauka] claimed the charity lost sponsors and donors after the Sussexes left the UK but she was not allowed to address the issue. The Sentebale chair also alleged Prince Harry had allegedly tried to “eject” her from the organisation and appointed board members without consulting her.

Another claim was that Prince Harry asked for a public message of support for Meghan after a polo fundraiser “went badly”.

Dr Chandauka alleged his actions, such as bringing a Netflix crew to a polo fundraiser, led to logistical issues and financial strain for the charity.

Additionally, she claimed the Duchess of Sussex’s unexpected attendance at the event, along with a celebrity friend, caused disruptions.

Dr Chandauka refused Prince Harry's request to issue a public statement supporting Meghan, stating the charity could not act as an extension of the Sussexes.

The trustee chair also mentioned she had raised concerns about bullying, harassment and misogyny within the organisation, which she claimed Prince Harry interfered with."

I find it ironic how the "abused" is now being accused of abuse, if all is true.

She is an American actress, and a good one too. Married to actor Ryan Reynolds.
She had some bad publicity last year when a video came out of her and a fellow actress being interviewed by a female journalist.
Lively was horrible to her, as was the other woman, but Lively was by far the worse, and much more famous, so she got all the bad publicity.
Since then, other videos of her have emerged, where she treats people with disdain.

Then a film she made last year, 'It ends with us', was in the headlines as the relationship between her and her male co-star nasty. She accused him of sexual harassment, he has counter sued her and her husband....I don't think either case has been heard yet.

“ A military parade marking the 80th anniversary of VE Day has been refused by a council for being 'too elite', in a move that has triggered outrage.

Hertfordshire's Dacorum Borough Council has come under fire for failing to put on a march to commemorate the end of the Second World War in Europe on May 8. “

The Council says it’s down to cost yet the same Council found the cash to hold a day-long event last year called “50 Fest” – which included a colourful parade through Hemel Hempstead – to mark its 50th birthday.

The lack of respect to those “elitists” who fought and those who died is absolutely disgusting.

edit: just read that the Council must have found some spare pennies as the parade will now go ahead. Public outcry has conjured up the funds somehow.
