 Then there was the exploding Tesla in Vegas. Thankfully, only the driver died in that one. 

 

 

Both men were stationed on the same army base at one time. The Vegas guy was a Green Beret so they weren't in the same units or anything. 

 

They both used the same app (Toro) to rent the trucks and both were E vehicles..

 

In the Vegas case, the  tank like Tesla truck probably helped contain the blast a little, but it could have been worse. Think exploding batteries..

 

In New Orleans, the batteries just make those vehicles 1000 pounds heavier making them more destructive running into things..

So much hate.
Home made bombs are obviously lethal, but as we have seen over the last couple of weeks, all a nutter needs is a vehicle to devastate many lives in one go.

 It's always been the case. 

 

If a person is hell bent on killing people, there is no way to stop them from targeting places where people congregate outside.

 

And bombs are also fairly easy to make. A moderately trained goat farmer in Afghanistan can make one. 

 

Many people have given certain weapons mythical properties, which I think MAY attract a certain nut to that weapon, but from a carnage standpoint, a 4000 vehicle is likely the more devastating device..
