Yes, but why? There is usually some rhyming slang, or connection somewhere...coupon = face ??
Dunno, Syl I’m not fluent in Vic-speak.
She does crack me up, though. Always has. I remember back in the day at Dogs, when she’d get into it with Trapper John in the footie threads. The creative insults they used to lob at each other often had me real-time howling with laughter.

She will no doubt enlighten us when she logs in. In the meantime, the only thing I can come up with...coupon = slip? so rhyming slang of slip could be lip...so maybe it splashed her lip.
I'm making soup tonight and I've learned to put the ingredients in before the liquid after my wee mishap last time when it all splashed out at hit me in the coupon.
Lentil, carrots, tatties and grated ham hock.
😍

Vita, I can usually work it out when you use a Scottish word or expression, but 'Hit me in the coupon' has me stumped.
Face. I’m betting ‘face’
Hi Vam, nice to see you.

Went to a farm shop cafe for lunch...bought some sliced roast ham on the bone for tea, a few slices cost £8...which I thought was a bit expensive. It looks nice though, will have it with my new favourite' thrice cooked chips' (or 4 times cooked, save Maddog pointing that out again) ...and salad.

If you have some leftovers you could have quint cooked taters..

What are they?
Taters cooked 5 times..
Would they not be called cinders?
I'm not an expert on these things. I stop cooking taters at two times..
