I don't know how folk can eat a full Scottish/English breakfast.

Too much, so early in the morning.

Toast for me on plain bread obviously!!

Well done. Not pretty, but as long as you enjoyed it that's all that matters.

What's unpretty about scrambled eggs and avocado?

Are you 8?

If you really want to know, it's a mess on a plate. Not sure why you wanted to share a photo of it?

My favourite veg at the moment is chopped white cabbage, boil (5 mins) mix in black pepper and butter, serve ... lovely.

 Try roasting cabbage.

Yes Syl, not only are you exercising wrong, you're cooking your cabbage wrong. You really should be paying him a consultancy fee.

It's not wrong, it's just a different way to cook a vegetable. I would say most people would prefer roasted potatoes over boiled potatoes too..

Yes, I suppose you would say that, even though it's got nothing to do with cabbage.

The point is there are multiple ways to cook cabbage. I think people should try them..

Tonight...I am having smoked salmon and scrambled eggs.
I can't face anything like this for breakfast, but I love it as an evening meal...with some crusty bread.

I made a big load of Bolognese sauce yesterday and stored most of it in the freezer.

I’m gonna boil up some tagliatelle tonight though, cos it’s effin cold and stormy over here and I need some carby comfort food. So, pasta Bol and a rocket/cucumber salad with Parmesan flakes and Balsamic/Dijon mustard dressing.

Breakfast at 2pm was four scrambled eggs on a piece of sourdough toast.

 That's a very healthy meal.. 😉

I could eat that for breakfast. Where I get hung up is sardines and eggs for breakfast. Sardines are something I want to eat more of, but I have to be in the right mood..

How do you cook your collie? I tend to simply boil for 4/5 minutes, then just add butter and pepper....or gravy if it's served with a roast.

I hate the smell of strong fish in the mornings.

The best sardines I ever tasted, an old fisherman was cooking them on the beach in Portugal, rm they were  massive, eaten outdoors in a basic beach restaurant....they were gorgeous.
