Warm beef shawarma sandwiches, with tahini and some pickled veg… deeeeee-vine! eat

Do you mean a gyro, or are you actually eating a shwarma sandwich?

Not that there is anything wrong with that..

She said it was a shawarma (not schwarma) sandwich. I'm sure she'll be thankful to hear that there's nothing wrong with doing that.

What would the ladies here do without you to advise them?

Nope not in a wrap, or sliced bread.

Warmed soft brioche type rolls, stuffed with shawarma and tahini. Looks a bit like a burger - but much more delicious nod

clue I could be wrong, of course. But I think I‘ve figured out who you might be (from the Dogs foodie threads).

If I’m right, you should sign up here! wink

scruffy Oops! My mistake, Anon.

Your posting style does remind me of someone who was a member at Dogs.

Our last night without an oven (Thank God) I have defrosted some prawns, which I will have with salad.

I was going to make a stew, don't need an oven for that, but it was so nice today we decided to go out instead and eat out in the sun, Hawarth or Hebden Bridge sounded good.
Unfortunately, even before we started out, the sun had disappeared, it was rainy, and eating inside doesn't have the same appeal, so we settled for a cream tea, and came back home.bored
