They are the exact opposite of 'cool', presuming that is how they are trying to come across as.

Harry looks like a right sap and she looks ridiculous.

At first glance, it does appear that she has stuffed a bundle of laundry up her dress.

There are girls all over the world living without her wealth and privilege, who have more class in their little fingers than she has in the whole of her swollen body.

Some of the comments on X are hilariously perceptive

 

Just look at these two trashy simpletons: no way is the notoriously dishonest old ham pregnant in this video, and her emasculated cash machine is auditioning for Posh Boy Retard Drip of the Year.

All this judgement seems a bit harsh. What is the real reason people hate Meghan so much that the loathing endures so strongly? I'm not keen on her, she doesn't strike me as a particularly caring person. But I don't understand why people gleefully embrace the media stirring the pot about her year after year. I actually feel sorry for Harry. I think losing his mother so young and having to always maintain a dignified stance was difficult. He is emotional and passionate like his mother. People think it betrays his family that he wrote a book detailing how he felt yet the King betrayed his wife and sons by having an affair with our now Queen, saying he "wanted to be her tampon" in a phone conversation. I think that's more classless than some silly dancing. I actually like the Royals and the King but they have all made mistakes and there is blame to go round. Why is Meghan considered so much worse?

 I think it's her being tied to the Royal Family when she wants to be (especially on payday). She's a very wealthy person because of the family but constantly attacks it. 

 

But I also think, that her detractors keep her in the limelight as much as she does.

 

She's sorta Trumpian in that respect. Her actions garner very strong, emotional responses from many people. 

 

The only problem I have with this video is her poor taste in music.

She usually comes out with something crass when the royal family have an announcement to make, or a new pic of one of William and Kates children  has been released.

It's her way of grabbing the headlines.

Although unlike Trump she has no real power so there's no real danger. She's just a poor version of a Kardashian..

I agree Maddog, she does cause strong emotional responses possibly because she is not a true Royal and because americans view things differently to us brits. Brits will inevitably view this clip as trashy but it was a challenge on Tik Tok at the time for overdue pregnant ladies to dance to a certain song to try and induce said baby. Americans are more likely to see this as just a bit of fun for the Duchess to indulge in. The whole concept is not exactly elegant but she wasn't dancing alone, many people were following the social media trend which at least puts the video in context. I still feel sorry for Harry Syl. He regrets his actions and desperately misses his father. He acted out of defiance that he had to keep up a professional facade no matter what was going on behind the scenes. If he forgave his father's life long affair and then accepted his mistress as Queen I do think King Charles who must also miss his son could thaw a little over time. If the King thawed towards Harry the public would follow.

 When you put yourself firmly in the limelight, whine about wanting privacy, bitch about your husband's family, get your nose put out of joint because you can't get your own way, be cruel  to your own father, and exhibit entitled tendencies then the media doesn't really have to do much but let you hang yourself with your own narcissistic rope.
