When the videos first came out I thought the driver must have been rat arsed or high on drugs as no one would deliberately drive at people like that (apart from terrorists, obviously) so tbh I was genuinely shocked to learn that he wasn’t and he did.
It still baffles me, a bad temper is one thing but…

But...I read over the last 30 odd years he had turned his life around and made a success of his life.
Sadly, it seems the red mist descended again ... what other explanation could there be for someone to act in such an evil way?

I saw the judge, he was saying he lost his temper. He must have a very quick, nasty, temper to do what he did.

It probably seems worse because the internet splashes every case of murder, cruelty, horrendous acts of violence ,into everyone's home on a daily basis.
In reality, in the UK, murders, for eg, are less now than they were 20 years ago.
