She's saying what a a lot of people are thinking, but you have to be careful these days what you say on SM, given who's in government and what happened to other SM posters last summer.

It's wrong, but it's the times we live in now.

I think the difference here is that last summer's incidents were in breach of the law (inciting racial hatred/violence) whereas this one was a breach of her employer's professional standards code, and nothing to do with the law or who's in government.

I think it's disgusting. She said what we all say!

There was a Muslim MP who went on camera saying they should do this, swipe his hand across his neck in a knife movement, to us! Nothing done. Plenty of cases the same.

If this hasn't made people see the injustice Starmer does to the indigenous people of this country, then nothing will.

Her mistake was posting her thoughts online, when everyone knows the WOKE society is always lurking waiting to pounce on anyone who talks out of their line.

But should she have been sacked for that?

Like Red said, people have to be careful what they write on social media. Some people are actively looking for negative comments, and are all to eager to report others. The Internet is a great help for Big Brother.

You have to be especially careful if you're working in certain professions - making what can be seen as racist comments can be the kiss of death to your career if you're working for the police, government, judiciary, schools or colleges, and as in this case, the health service. You might think it's a form of oppression, but I guess you can't have people who work in these areas showing prejudice.

Remarks can be taken out of context. Re Mosques. Have you seen the clips on here where hate speech is preached in certain Mosques? I have commented that they should be investigated and closed if need be. When the investigation into radicalisation in mosques has been discussed, have you commented on that?

Obviously there has to be a line drawn, especially if you work in an organisation that demands impartiality, like the NHS or education, I dont doubt many, like this nurse, has phrased things wrongly on social media and paid the price.

She was unwise to couple pics of boat people next to pics of ordinary Muslims, if that is what she did.

I should think every nurse in the country knows that without immigration the NHS would have collapsed decades ago. She admits her posts were wrong, but as she said, she was angry when she posted after just hearing that the government was denying the majority of OAP's winter fuel and TV licence concessions.

When people hear this, knowing that illegal immigrants are given free priority health care, housing, food, and even taxi's to transport them to NHS appointments that others can't get, even though they may have paid into the system for up to 60 years, it angers people, and rightly so.

All mosques to be closed I said, I meant those who are spreading racists remarks and threats to non muslims. As Syl said, they should be investigated and closed if found racist and radical.

I know a lot of Turkish muslims, lovely people. They integrate with us and are non radical. They're are radicals in all walks of life.

Me and my Muslim friend talk about her religion, she explained things to me, as I have about my spiritual beliefs. It really is similar thoughts, which surprised us both.

If, like that nurse, people complain and she lost her job for her thoughts or have been taken out of context, then that is wrong.
