Watching a programme about this really odd man who went dogging with his girlfriend, they wore bird masks, but the pair of them got very nervous when someone came to watch them....I think you had to see the documentary to fully appreciate the humour.
Then logging in and talking about the programme with Poca and a couple of others who had also just watched it.....it was hilarious, the funniest conversation I have ever had on a forum.

Favourite times???

Well it has to be being banned 100 times by DanielJ on SOL. Back in those days you could set up a new hotmail account in a minute. Budgie1, Budgie2, Budgie3...

It got so bad that DanielJ sent me a PM asking for my phone number to discuss. I declined, because I didn't trust the cunt. Just as well, because his company was hacking phones at the time, unbeknownst to everyone.

So we chatted on SOL about my bans and his fucking mods were banning me as I was chatting to Daniel! The guy had no control over his mods or his auto-ban software. It was hilarious!

Then there's Lucy Lockett's meltdown on SOL.... also Manicbred's nephew "Trussy" (think his name is Paul Truscott IIRC) taking a doing in boxing and he couldn't handle my trolling...

The woman's forum on SOL where the "reeking clunge" groupies accrued.... I have to admit, I regret my behaviour back then. Not kidding.

Stooo caught wanking to Northern's chats... crusty bed sheets...

I found Northern's "NoVan" issue with Stooo amusing as well, remember when she promised him a van and she couldn't deliver?

I think my most satisfying times were when frauds were being exposed. For example old women being found out using pictures of young attractive dark-skinned women (ie: Northern) and young attractive blondes (guess who! Fok!!!) to lure gullible males into chatting to them. If NAA is around, I hope she'll post the grabs somewhere.

I have very little forum experience and have tended to read forums rather than join and post.

I did join a friend's forum years ago. It was private so all the members had been invited by someone who was already a member. At first it was fun but it just became boring and people just drifted away.

Reading your forum memories, I kind of think I have missed out.

Just like Tee, we too have very little expereince of forums, fact!!!!!!!!
During the time on forums, we've made a couple of good cyber friends
and one of them is a famous tv star, fact.

We've had some hilarious times on Forums....usually at some other bugger's expense. Some legendary forum fights and squabbles. And some cracking insults and one liners.

See that's the thing, you were able to push the boundaries a bit. I never bothered to join forums because members seemed to be banned for the smallest of things. My friend's forum died of dullness.

Stepford forums get boring, there needs to be differing opinions to make a forum interesting.
Unfortunately some people dont like it when others disagree, and unlike in real life, where you can walk away, or discuss something reasonably, most forums have one or two posters/keyboard warriors, who insult and abuse others in a way they wouldn't dare to do face to face.

Its part and parcel of forum life.

Dare we ask?

The woman's forum on SOL was a good laugh. If you wanted some non-serious chat that was the place to go. The News section where Northern was cyberfucking Thor, Rob Ex-RockApe and Boabywan was a bit too serious, with its many anti-Islam threads and overt BNP support.

I originally joined the woman's forum for a bit of light trolling and ended up having such a good laugh and fed up with being banned that I setting up a forum called the Shower Of Plenty along with Catdancer.

However, I think maybe I was a bit too much of a lad with some of the ladies. And I also think these days I wouldn't get away with a lot of what I said back then in this day and age of feminism and political correctness.

I also think I've been a right cunt with some as well, not intentionally though. It might be 6,7,8 years ago but I still feel I let myself down.

I've learned not to believe what others on forums tell me, as there are some (mostly women) that utterly revel in shitstirring and spreading lies.

What I didn't realise at the time was that there was, and still are, a lot of female mentalists online. Catfishing is just the tip of the iceberg.
