It isn't so much my ip but the area I live and I have been told members can see that. I shall leave it there but just to say *slurs are not the only way to ruin a life.

What can you see when you are not hiding your IP and when hiding it. I run a site and can see IP's, network, the engine they are using, the name of the allocated computer and assigned name. I know not everyone has the skill to see that but it can be done but I'm not sure when I see a VPN is the other details are accurate or proxy.

Posting someones IP address is against the DPA/2018 and GDPR but no one cares.

To be honest I very rarely check ip's…..unless they are slanderous or really horrible....the latter is more often or not from the usual suspects.

It was funny when folk used to post on proxy's all the time here, the globe showed a whole host of people posting from the Netherlands, Australia , Canada. ..

All I can say is we must have been very interesting to have received such international interest reading so regularly

Thanks Georgia...we don't get that many idiotic posts that are too bad to allow through, so it's not much of a problem for us.
Neither of us are sensitive or take nasty comments to heart, and tbh the nastiest comments are usually about us, so it's just as well.

Ah, the trouble with not reading Anons emerges. The fiction creating goes on unabated..!

Vils left after posting on FH for a fairly long time. I don't think everyone agreed with his moderation but it may of been nothing to do with forums, possibly real life events caused him to leave. You do recall real life one hopes..!

He and I always got on very well, right up until the day he left, sorry to disappoint..
