  I think you might find that reporters don't have much integrity and that the doxer is just as likely to be exposed in the end.  There are ways to do it.  Don't kid yourself.

     There was a woman on DS a few years ago who was exposed by the press for making possible libellous comments about the McCanns, was doorstopped by a reporter, who I think was from the Sun or News of the World, and ended up killing herself. I wonder if it was her DS posts which were responsible for her being caught? Maybe one of the McCannites on DS alerted  their solicitors or the media.
