It's a gloves off kind of place, but we don't allow personal stuff.   The rest of the forum is the nice chilled part.

1. Digger has corrected you regarding the purpose of the whine section, cos you got it completely wrong.

2. You also got it wrong calling me a coward. I am posting in my username. I NEVER post anonymously as a guest

3. You got it wrong saying I "bark" orders on who should post on the thread I created.

I did not bark orders, - the ONLY thing I was objecting to, was when Syl said she had blocked someone trying to post a DOX on the thread.
Doxing is illegal and immoral - evil.

Apart from the doxed info I could not care less who posted on the thread or what they posted.
So you got that very wrong, Daisy. (And you're not the only one.)
If it wasn't doxed stuff, I wouldn't have cared a toss.
So that's 3 things you got wrong, for the price of one.

 
I run a forum myself and I always remind people that anyone can post on the thread they created.
In my last post to rollup, I wrote the "peace" which is a signal that I was done posting to him and that have no residual ill feeling towards him.

 

Take note that I haven't posted tit for tat insults back to you, Daisy.

Norris was a regular in Coronation street till the end of 2017.. (are you getting the character mixed up with someone else?) he left for health reasons. He has recently returned.

He is a brilliant character, at least as nosy and meddlesome as Ena ever was.

Maybe generally you haven't seen all that much of Text on forums. I think there's many worse people than Text around on certain forums.

 

Granted I haven't seen all that much of her myself on forums but I do think I've seen enough to make a pretty accurate judgement.

 

I don't really see Text randomly just insult people for no reason whatsoever. Imo she's not one of those posters. From what I have seen she tends to only give insults out if someone has properly started on her first.

Good point could well be. I've always kept an eye or two on EE and Corrie. 

It all goes to show how Corrie goes about casting. First Percy, then Reg, followed by Norris. All quite similar. That's the correct order I think!

And before Percy who knows... I'm not quite old enough for that :D

This thread has made me realise that forum members could discuss those Corrie characters for days on end. There've been so many of them, down the decades.

Let me add 2 more iconic names to that list of men...drumroll ...… the husbands of Hilda Ogden and Vera Duckworth. 

Useless great henpecked lumps, they took  whimpishness to new heights.

Best female - by a million miles - Blanche, Deirdre's mum. Luved her!!! Brilliant casting there.

Your thread has taken me on a very pleasurable journey down memory Lane, Rollup. 

And her voice when riled!  A forbidding deadpan northern voice that could stop the titanic. :surprise:

This thread has given me ideas - I will defo make a thread about Corrie. (not on here - cos we've already chatted about it now.)
There'd be a lot of mileage in it. You could divide it into eras - and divide the characters into different personality types.
