I apologise now for commenting because you have been very decent to me. I was frankly just shocked but there are two sides to every story. I just wanted to convey that I was upset that that was said to Digger who kindly allows me a platform to speak because I do know the power of such savage words but without offending you who I like very much .

Thankyou for the above xx 💓My partner and I never sthink about it now and as hurtful as the old CM was I am confident that with Digger and Syl at the helm it would not happen again.

I also know that some of the individuals who took part when things were at their most malignant were more than sorry, their own behaviour shamed them and they have not returned to forums since. One I don't think forgave themselves.

Such is the danger of forums becoming conformist mobs and why you and I agree that words as weapons are as potentially hurtful as doxing and intruding on someone's real life.

But forums are changing and for the better so people have learnt from it 😊👍

just someone who reads a lot but stopped posting a week or so after Hobbit was made Mad due to her silly Bait and Ban games with posters she didn't like or couldn't get the better of in arguments which I thought was a total abuse of the Mod buttons she'd been given ,and 18 months later she's still as bad with her control freakery .

When a person lurks rather than posts ,,you get a much better feel and perspective of the control and manipulation that goes on

@ Digger I am not a ''pontificator'' I am the complete reverse ie I never judge what others say/do so long as it does not involve me. Which is precisely why I am the only person who has never involved myself in any of those interforum BF/CM/EOE/DS/DTV etc etc forum wars. I always stayed clear.

In the end we made up and moved on and you joined my website, and we got on fine and when you posted on my site, I did not dredge up the rows we previously had, I left the past in the past.

People have been hurt on forums, when someone is cowardly sitting behind their keyboards amusing themselves by tormenting others, it's also cowardly to support that person or turn a blind eye because you are not the one in the firing line.....but hang around, you will be.....eventually.
