Never mind kizzie you weird granny, you can cry on Binnys shoulder.
Was Binny from up north and did she post in the middle of the night at times?
I barely met Binny but what I love about CM is that you can post on threads at any time of night. I often post at 2 or 3 am. It's a surreal feeling like walking around an empty workplace..or maybe I just need to go to bed at this point!
The best parts of the forum is where the Guests can't see 😊
It's almost like you're trying your best to slow down the traffic here.
If you're trying to get people to bit, it's not working.

I tell you one thing, you do want to consider thinking it's best to go and get a bit of shut eye. I don't know where you've materialised from, but you must be bleeding knackered dragging that soapbox you're always on. Is there anything you don't have an opinion on? Or need to voice school marm telling offs? You and the other effing idiot are choking the life out of this place. Used to be a nice little place. It's changed. I think I'[ll leave you to it.
Don't bother with any of your gobby replies to me, unlike many I couldn't give a shit, I wont bother to read them.

For someone who hardly posted, you sure are making a big thing about another poster
you never posted with. Flounces used to be so dramatic, what the hell happened?
Agreed Twizzler, I do actually recall Daisy now, she posted on my welcome thread once.
The last thing I want her to do is leave though whoever she may be, although attempting to influence others by flounce is a bit unfair.
Digger, no offence babe, but that lamp does hurt my eyes!!!! Sorry, another no offence comment Digger, your lamp is not as classy as Syls and that's a fact!!!

You get it on DS all of the time behind the scenes this is what i was advised a couple of months ago by a longstanding person in the know. I know first hand from various sites syears ago as i used to chat with mods on various forums that intially started threads to get me banned then emails, calls that they were longstanding and would leave, leave did the heck, lol.
if you want to leave, then leave. if you want to return after a pretend flounce, then try but final decison is not with you

Digger, you won't post my post if I was going to be really very honest and posted my real response to yours here. So here is the measured one:
It hurts my eyes because I can't stand that kind of lam as the base looks like a cheap chamapgen glass.
FYI, there is only one BASTARD here and it's not me and that is another fact!!
I'm never rude to people in real life, nor the net unless they start it and even then i ignore most of the time

DS was an odd forum. You would think there would be individuals from all cultures and walks of life so therefore there would be an interesting mix of viewpoints and intelligent debates to be had.
Yet everyone in General Discussion seemed to think the same thing, or at least a clique did and they would attempt to mock genuinely interesting posters with contrasting opinions. Also, some posters would just attempt to derail threads and insult folk..and this was tolerated by moderation.
Obviously in due course I discovered Dogs and read about DTV and realised alot of the trolls hailed from there. When you're a newbie you really are astonished to see forums discussing other forums, such a thing seems so bizarre, and to see your own posts dissected and discussed! !
I rarely look now, I must be honest, but I did enjoy posting when I was ignorant of DTV et al. The Big Brother forum was almost more important to me than watching the programme itself! I doubt it's the same now, as the programme is not what it was either.
I can recall Anne666 and she was extremely set in her ways , used to annoy me a tad! WonkeyDonkey was a highly articulate poster but she did used to write essays, I believe the lady passed away and if so I am sad to know it.
I learnt to ignore Vernon Bennett, Billy Value and the others they cliqued with. You could almost feel the bewilderment and slight hurt felt by posters not in the know when they would troll over people's threads. Are they still on there?
Politics was always a bit aggressive and I expect it's the same in the current climate. People seemed to take delight in being as condescending as possible, I still enjoyed posting there though.
When I learnt that people in Advice, vulnerable and sincere posters asking for help, were being mocked elsewhere I just didn't want to post there any longer. I often wondered how those posters would feel if they encountered DTV just to read a bunch of strangers talking about them .

I meant forum disputes thst went too farand into real life as you well know. The people involved or who saw the hole of it will understand perfectly
.So I decided to reflect on DS General Discussion. Wow, super villain am I.:lesson:

Aside. I find that lamp interesting and pretty much harmless. It forms an optical illusion one in which there is a shift between positive and negative space or foreground and background. An effect that can be seen in some of the works of Salvador Dali as well as Wassily Kandinsky. It tells us something about how the human brain processes visual information.

Yes , it's like a Gestalt optical illusion, I. E the well known candlestick and two Faces picture. But there people are able to see both images simultaneously.
Here it has to be said the thong (that does not exist! ) because it is in the forefront is what the eyes are drawn to first and then what we perceive to be legs. I had to search to find the lamp at first upon being told I thought it was a novelty er humorous lamp 😀
I now have one of the lamps I really love as my avi…...any criticism of this one will be met with scorn because I KNOW my Tiffanys lamps are beyond disdain.

I think it's actually quite brilliant.
The illusion of the black gloved hand caressing the milky thigh added another dimension on the whole I thought.

But...not any more!!! The orange lamp is one I made recently and just sold.
