I am fed up with the Sleeping Dogs Forum - it is turning into an echo chamber

Do these excuses for men call the women they know the c word in real life I wonder?
If there is nothing wrong with it how would they react if some other oaf called their wives or mother these name...I wonder again.

The truth is either these hen pecked little inadequates don't talk to women like that in real life, or if they do they will be sad little men living alone because no decent woman would put up with it.

Of course they don't it's why dogs is a playground not to be taken too seriously.

It's people pissing about and taking the piss and using shock value etc.

I'm sure some of them go to perfectly normal forums or internet sites and behave like they do at home.

Who really would want the whole internet to be some sane place to go for a simple chat?

People have friends family neighbours for that.

If somewhere isn't sane and sensible enough then stop using it.

I think some people should join penpal sites or morse code sites they'd be much happier.

Dean has been very fair minded when everyone around him was insulting me for the lols, Lady M and Xtras debating if I was born a man etc so they can all be pretty nasty on there.
The Pay in the Workplace thread is particularly vicious, Dean is obviously in the wrong to call Lady M a c*nt just for creating a pretty standard thread. But he is always targeting her and in the thread he claims to hate all women equally-I do believe he should just be taken at his word.
Bans have been dished out for far far less . But as much as Hobbit and Holly clearly despise him he never receives one.

Well, it's not one rule for the rest of the world and another for Dean sadly, except in Aziz's view.
It's transparent trolling on McAz's part. I think acknowledging it is understandable but gives his carry on too much merit. He is behaving very foolishly for reasons known only to him. It is cringeworthy to witness him pretending not to recognise his own hypocrisy. At least Dean is being true to himself, McAz used to be witty, intelligent and fair-minded.
Now sadly he us unrecognisable as a poster.

It's a trolling forum so fair enough shit gets thrown around.

I would say though that if that's the case why can words and comments of others get seized on and turned into some faux outrage fest. As I've said if it's a trolling firum no one gets to have the monopoly on bad behaviour or crappy comments.

Obviously forums like Dogs and the now defunk Bitchfest and Modwest have their place in forum world, they wouldn't last as long as they do if some people didn't enjoy going on them.

My theory is the people who use them and participate in the nasty name calling may well act normally in the real world, that doesn't make them any less inadequate in my opinion.

No normal decent man talks to women like that on a forum yet respects women in real life, they just get away it with hid behind their computers...which makes them cowards as well as foul mouthed idiots.

Since we get on as a rule you will know that I'm not trying to wind you up, you did leave Dogs and now post here and it IS a saner place and most importantly FAIRLY moderated. You defend Dogs for being off its box yet ultimately you rejected it.

It's lovely being able to debate serious issues , and yes the debate gets heated at times as it should, without being informed you are a fat stupid c*nt (random standard example) by an Anon at random times throughout a thread.

I don't know why Dogs doesn't take a leaf out of CM's book and have one trolling section, not an entire trolling forum. The Snug doesn't count, no bugger reads it

.The entire Arms could be for serious debate or fun threads and allow guest posting and trolling on the last thread only. Scrap the Snug because it doesn’t merit an entire section, the few threads created in there that get attention could be in the non trolling section of the Arms.

I said a couple of months before hand on dogs that I would be leaving soon as I could only laugh at the same people saying the same shit for only so long or something like that.
The repeated deletion of Fletch's posts was the final straw as it made me realise what a conformist place it really is under all that shit.
If it aint in the MSM it can't be true.

My tablet makes spelling errors all the time so fret not!

Good looking folk may criticise others looks or basically secure people with high self esteem can troll with the best of them but they really shouldn't.

If you have a good life and have been treated decently you don't need to troll others. It's all to do with the individuals own personal moral code I suppose.

But I do feel more unhappy and insecure people troll the most often and the most viciously.

People are unhappy if they don't like the circumstances of their life, if they spot someone on forums they dislike it may bring them very brief satisfaction to try and bring a perceived confident individual down. I should imagine you can only truly enjoy trolling someone if you dislike them.

I don't understand the mindset personally. Even if they manage to upset someone occasionally with their gleeful insults does it make them any better off in their own life? Nope.

It's a mystery to me why anyone bothers.

Yes the moderation is biased and prejudiced but that's the downside over places that allow very base trolling and behaviour. The moderation is unlikely to be fair and normal because the forum isn't .

It is however, strangely prudish though. Dogs is the epitome of the "no sex please"stereotype of the British.

Racist slurs everywhere, the c word, homophobia jokes and name calling all allowed, no problem folks...but Holly objects to a post where an individual confesses they are celibate, says it's all a bit "cringe".

Because I have seen some obviously mentally unwell people targeted on there - by Dean for example - it just be a bit of fun for people like him but what about those who do take things seriously?
I honestly think some would be really pleased if they caused someone to take their own life.
