No worries. I like landscapes sometimes from a picture and more often from my imagination. I like to lay the paint down play with it and see where it takes me.

Reading a fair bit, mostly psychology textbooks which makes me sound a tad boring. Also some novels , I adore Stephen King 😍
I also spend far too much time listening to ASMR video's on YouTube but they genuinely relax me. You are considered a nerd if you like ASMR , well I am a self confessed nerd
I wish I could cook but I can't. .I can watch people cooking, that I can do..!😄

I enjoy reading about abnormal psychology in the main (naturally lol) , it's technically a science so can be a bit dry.
The "dark triad" theory interests me and how the more insidious Internet trolls you mentioned previously may possess the dark triad traits I. E the unbalanced individuals who enjoy trolling memorial sites.
The people who say the most appalling things online just because anonymity allows them to interest me, I can't pretend otherwise. Jack claimed psychology is mumbo jumbo and it's just folk acting badly because they are able to and certainly I respect his opinion.
But just because an individual is able to do something doesn't mean that they should do it or even want to . There is zero appeal to me to in hurting the feelings of a stranger who has done me no harm and I think that's why the motivation of the more hateful trolls interest me.
I created a thread about ASMR in Pub Chatter if you want to look :cheer2: I have a feeling it wont appeal to you but I find it really relaxes me.
The official definition is "Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response", a calming pleasurable feeling often accompanied by a tingling sensation. The stimuli that trigger ASMR varies for each individual.

I would say that the dark triad is fairly well represented in the online world. After all I think it's one in twenty that have traits on the psychopathic spectrum. It's always a good test of character to see how people behave when they think there are no consequences to that behaviour.

Jordan Peterson talks about psychology and self help in general, plenty of talks up on youtube. And before anyone tells you, no he's not alt right.

Yes indeed, I agree it is an excellent test of character. I think if you have your own avi and name like Syl and myself (My forum i.d was Fluffy for quite some time but you may be surprised to learn that wasn't my real name..) then you don't feel quite so anonymous but still, no one in my real life would find out what I say on the forum.

I am a member here and the BIB is pure fantasy. Only the no guest part is true. Someone has ruined this place and for their own reasons, Digs and Syl have let him and now you, just destroy what had suddenly become a good forum after being dead for so long. long time members have left and others have stopped posting. All digs and Syl can say is we won't be held to ransom. that would be a normal response to blackmail but the members have just left not flounced or said it is him or me. How is that held to ransom? he runs riot around the forum destroying other members threads while his own threads are just links. nothing is said to him only to those who object to his drunken behaviour. 5 members maybe 6 have left, good members who contributed a lot here, some kept the place going when it was dead. There are two people here who insist the admin are fair, both of those are destroying the place while others give up and leave. I would laugh but it's just not fucking funny. I would never have in a million years thought that Digger and Syl were up for arse-licking but that has all its took to destroy this place.
dunno if this will even get through but can't raise the energy anymore over this farce.

All this may have been taken seriously and discussed openly if you had just had the bottle to post in your user name without hiding.

There are two members on this site who have a particular dislike of JD and Georgia. That kind of narrows it down. So...you haven't got the balls to post as yourself? Kind of makes a mockery of your own outrage. Syl and I will continue to defend anyone on this forum we feel is being bullied or treated unfairly. If you want to have a go at savaging JD or Georgia, nobody will stop you, and you'll most likely get a savaging back. But you won't be allowed to tag team, or gang up, no matter how much you bleat and whine about it. One thing I've learned about forums is members can be extremely fickle, one moment you get on great guns, the next you're being picked on and at the receiving end. So, one day it might be your turn to be the victim of someone's spite and dislike. If that day ever comes, Syl and I will defend you in the same way.

Jack and Kizzie left because we wouldn't get rid of JD, or take their side against him. If being fair as construed by you as taking sides, it says more about you than anyone else.

.I don't venture into the serious threads as much as some but when I did I was always courteous and respected the opinion of others, which is far more than some member's did. I asked them to elaborate and never derailed a thread, ..now I am accused of contributing to destroying the main forum.

Yes, Digger and Syl are being very fair and you never deserved the attempted tiresome tag-teaming that sometimes occurred.

But I got on with Jack fairly well I thought, we shared the same politics and when he posted I was always respectful and civil, even when he posted in the Whine against me I took it in good grace.

I never approved of the way he treated you but I am a bit sad to learn he despised me also and that other folk are leaving. What did I say to them to incite such a strong reaction?

There is only one poster here I have fallen out with since my arrival so I had no idea long time posters were unhappy. If they had just pm'ed me and explained their issue with me I'm sure things could have been civil.

People have every right to leave a forum and have their account deleted. I've enabled it so they can delete their accounts. We can't get on with everyone, and I think if a forum becomes utterly unbearable because of personal issues or dislikes, then it's healthier to leave.
