Vicks showing her sick side on Dogs this week. She got away with it as admin but won’t anymore. How long can she last without admin status?
It's over. She's flounced.
Sick would be going too far but she has chosen never to conceal her vicious side Guest, I can only think people previously pretended not to observe it
She often mocked posters with obvious if not ominous zest, albeit using language peppered to the extreme with colloquialisms that they were thankfully almost unreadable.
We should treasure that we can now understand such terms as sleekit "sweety wives" and getting "on your boak" and have unconsciously stored a vast amount of bland Scottish football knowledge of which we were previously blissfully unaware.
To be fair though she was seemingly loyal to Stooo, only for him to allow Budgie to post there. I don't know why she is no longer Mod even, but you are correct she won't be comfortable posting without the power of the banhammer.
Dogs has always been censorship central. However, most forums have prejudices.
Further experience posting as a guest confirms that the censorship is dreadful (most posts do not pass moderation) and it is not worth the effort even posting. I could become a member but it is not clear to me that there is anything to gain from joining such a small and insular community.
Dogs is quieter!!!
No special protection for Gabby when Budgie called her a fake so she flounced. Even Dean didn’t speak up this time.
Stooo's lack of regard for anyone who has shown him loyalty in any form is astounding.
I don't particularly like Poca, her stance that Golliwogs are not racist in this day and age was almost breath taking in its absurdity. The woman surely does not live beneath a rock and knows how society has long held little regard for Golliwog's...besides it is not for a white person to decide that a symbol of racial divide and/or oppression should now suddenly be tolerated(even approved of!) by all who post on a forum with them.
I understood why Avon was offended and somewhat baffled by the Mods tacit acceptance of her racist avi.
That being said she is always loyal and warm in the way that she speaks about Dogs yet it doesn't surprise me that the inadequate owner didn't put himself out on her behalf. His biggest betrayal was Fletch.
People generally don't like Fletch so don't mind that he was disrespected and dismissed by Dogs moderation and owner but they should at least note it. Fletch has always supported the forum and Stooo himself and been a long time member as I understood it.
Same with Poca. Loyalty means nothing to Stooo because he is incapable of being so himself.
It seems the rule using family members to troll incessantly doesn’t apply anymore?.... shit happens!
Hi Gx, Syl and all other nice people here and the dogs.
I have to hadn it to you Gx that you are a very fair and balanced poster.
You also have a lot of knowledge about what's been going on the forums
I've just read your posts made this morning, very enlightening.
You not only look great but you also have a degree in diplomacy.
I hope you and your loved ones had a great christmas and enjoying you time off work.
Happy new year yo you and the others here and I hope you all have a very prosperous new year
Lucian
Thankyou Lucian , I hope you and your family enjoyed the festive holidays too xx 🎄🎁 Good luck for the New Year also! 😊
I am just very interested in people, that's why I studied psychology. I have PLENTY of flaws of my own and I endeavour to improve upon them but since folk have been very er forthright, for want of a better word, in forum world since I encountered them I don't see why I would. be critiqued for doing the same.
I do try to be fair, yes and treat people the way I would like to be treated myself. What I have noted is the way Dogs itself seem to recoil with confusion at anyone even slightly non conformist and this contrasts so much with real life that it interests me.
We have all met people of differing ages, cultures, sexual preferences , etc so I guess the rigid thinking they insist upon is at odds with modern life. Yet I suspect it wasn't always so, Fletch, Dean , Rollup and other posters have expressed surprise in the direction of the forum in recent times.
I can't imagine it was a more kindly place before my time but possibly less likely to indulge in groupthink? I would hope so.
