Alistair Stewart resigned over one comment. Was there something more to it? How many would be left on the forums inclusion Digital Spy if everyone was to resign over one comment. Having said that, he has done the honorable thing.

I don't see why folk object to people wanting to know they are talking to. I believe Digger doesn't mind, she is laid back and you can tell the Doc has hailed from DS like Token Gesture across the way.

But if someone is a poster to whom we are all familiar and have got on with (or not)for a few years I think posters would think it a tad deceitful if they decided not to reveal their identity.

I don't think there is any shame in admitting that tbh.😕

I find it strange behaviour when, if someone I have posted with and got on with suddenly pops up on another forum under a different name and they don't reveal, even privately, who they are.

Others don't mind that....I think it's odd....each to their own.

There is no disloyalty posting on both forums as long as you state who you are, but I wouldn't want to post on Dogs now because it's changed. The Guests will claim not to believe that of course but if they have read my posts concerning Dogs they will know I'm being sincere.

There are few female posters left, there is an element of boys own club " about it which is fine if that is the direction the owner wants to take it in.

I have no interest in DS, I wouldn't get along with several male posters, Major bring an example and all in all it just wouldn't be for me. I doubt the Dogs regular's will be devastated to learn this, lol. 😉

And I concur Syl, if you know someone well from a forum for several years I would find an attempt to disguise themselves a tad strange.
