We are leaving the EU on the 31/01/2020 at 23:00hrs GMT.
Therefore is it time to put a stop to wasting our daylight hours in England by retaining GMT all year round?
Every year we get these debates and it is time for change, or not as the case may be.
Imagine you and I return from work at 5/6pm and we could sit in daylight in our gardens and enjoy a glass of wine in daylight right up until 11pm and beyond.
I appreciate the fact those in the far north of the UK will not see daylight until just after 9am. They have a choice, either have a separate time zone, or simply move school, office hours to 10am.

I imagine you need to get out more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is nothing nicer than sitting in the garden with a chilled glass of wine on a summers evening.
How the other half live!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FYI I,m the OP. Not wanting to offend you, please kindly refrain from rubbishing threads with you inane ramblings. I'm not your enemy, in fact I defended you when some lost moron
initiated a thread aimed at Georgia on these forums, the moron tried to impersonate you and I knew you are not nasty behind a Anon but post it under your name.
FYO Jo, I am not RollupSerialFlouncer, LegendaryTheGreat, LRtheGREAT, etc.
