I posted a comment that critised an anti-Brexit doom and gloom comment for its childishness and it didn't pass moderation. Basically Stooo rejects the majority of Guest posts that challenges his political positions. But he has said he will do this in the past - his forum his rules.
I'm glad Stooo is abandoning his mask. Trying to sound like a chilled languid student doesn't really work at his age.
I do enjoy it when he goes too far with the persona and Dean says " you're making no sense again Stooo..". It's not his real personality, it never sounds authentic.
Him posting "shut your whore mouth" However sounds totally authentic, it was a genuine outburst with the facade forgotten.
He is not at all laidback and nor is his true posting style a pleasant one.I don't think anyone would call him out on it if he just spoke as he does in real life as he is the owner.
They may even respect him more.
You don't really know Stooo do you? He is not someone who has just one way of being. Sometimes he gets pissed up and will rant other times he will discuss a mater. Is it really the case for you that someone can post calmly for months years and then lose the plot here and there and that is the real them? If that is the case your pal John is one nasty C**T I have seen him cuss out women on here and call them all the types of things you profess to hate. Or is it only when those you don't like do it?
I have never seen John use the c word , no or treat women badly.I was absent from forums when he was perma banned from Dogs but I recall him getting very well with folk on there and Vam trying get to impress him with her ownership of seductive high heels..! So clearly if there was any flirty banter going on the women certainly didn't mind it as they were joining in.
Im not a hypocrite and if I thought JD or any bloke was speaking to a lady in an offensive way, sexually or just plain aggressive I would comment.
I'm not one to stay silent when hypocrisy goes on although conforming like sheep and saying nowt is definitely the way to a more hassle free forum life. I don't blame people who do it.

Those he used to be friends with and who have since called him out for his obsessive messaging and emailing are called tarts, whores and any other derogatory name he can think of. The men though are still called by their names. That shows anyone with a brain how he really feels about women.

Hi, I have something on my chest that I would like to get off.

Sometimes people become impatient for replies when online. This impatience can lead to things that result in a runaway type effect.

Now I don't know anything much about CM - but it provided me a place to whine a bit about the moderation on dogs. I sort of got it off my chest and from the responses and time I became okay with it. Sometimes I say things about people that later I think I was a bit unfair to say those things - but it helped me evolve into a person of better understanding.

Anyway, I think what just happened on that other thread was the result of impatience and then a crowd of others including a horde of anonymouses jumped in that caused a run-away effect. In such circumstances I think a temporary "ban" can be helpful - either imposed by the impatient person themselves or by an overseer. In real life we are told to count to twenty and have a walk around the block to settle our impatient nerves.

A forum is just a forum providing an opportunity to chat about things we are interested in. But it is just chat - let's not get carried away. Let's have some people that try to calm things down - there are already too many people (anonymouses and not so anonymouses) that jump on differences and try to widen them.
