This is how I deal with anon, guest posts if they are nasty or similar, IGNORE.
I bet you this post went get through as it will stop or at least slow down the bickering.
JD is ace and keeps this section interesting and from what I have seen, he attracts the most of the negative posts. I'm not speaking for JD as he can manage that himself, just saying.....

I've not seen anything nasty posted by JD but I have lots of nasty stuff by two posters on the Dogs. No, it's not hard to ignore as I', assuming you have more than a brain cell. Many will answer to a guest/anon and then claim faux outrage, disgust. I post on DS and I've managed to have banned many posters over the years as I keep calm and never respond to their bait but report, report and report. I also have several good friends there where we plan who, when to report and have managed to get some long term posters banned or at least get taken down a step or three when they are suspended.
Many are leaving the Dogs but some are shameless by that I mean they are abused in a very nasty way and nasty posts are let through and remain, not sure why.
The main forum is absolutely nothing like whine, people cannot hide themselves so they are accountable for what they say. But the main reason is the members here are actually nice.

JD doesn't deserve the bad rap he gets but for some reason folk won't let the past lie. What does it matter how he behaved elsewhere, he is a nice person here and that's all that matters.
That's if he did even behave badly in the first place ..the one thing I just won't tolerate is the re writing of forum history and how easily some folk seemingly believe it because they might not like the individual in question.

I agree about people on forums never letting the past...even a made up or exaggerated past, lie. Sadly there are a lot of sheep on forums, they believe what they are told rather than making their own minds up....Hopefully they have a bit more nous in real life.
