The thing that's terrifying me is the prospect of having to live in at work if anyone there gets it.
Many people are being advised to work from home if they can, obviously millions cant.
Can't with mine. It's social care. Need staff to support the residents.
It's the residents that are vulnerable and need the care more than ever. Their families must be worried sick.
Sometimes I worry the tabloids are doing their best to whip up a frenzy and cause far more alarm than is needed .. then I worry that if anything they are understating the dangers and in reality we could be in far more trouble than we imagine.
They don't give a shit, and shit sells, many people are human 'sheep' and will follow the herd.*
* Huge insult to sheep BTW, we have long played down their incredibly high cognitive abilities as social animals (like pigs).
So we can slaughter and consume them without guilt.

Well if you don't follow the herd, you usually get cast aside.
I understand why most people choose comformity rather than follow their principles.

If feeding my friends is selfish then yes I am, I have very elderly friends and neighbours who cannot do their own shopping I already have what I need but they don't so I choose to go into the madness to get things for them. So while you lot sit there with your noses in the air looking down at others, try to think outside your little boxes that not everyone is selfishly taking but trying to get food for others who are not lucky enough to have a family to help them

Shopping to feed friends and help out vulnerable members of society is very nice....but don't try to make out that the shelves are stripped of essential foods and household items because that's what folk are doing.
Maybe you are who knows, but many people are hoarding for their own personal greed...selfish people make a bad situation worse for the people who are more considerate to others.
Self entitlement comes in many ages....I was leaving a table in a busy café bar yesterday, a lady stood behind me waiting to take the table as soon as I had vacated it, an elderly couple walked in, looked round, and the wife dashed over almost barging into me to grab the table away from the lady who had patiently waited....happily she just wasn't quick enough.
That sort of 'entitled' behaviour is very selfish....no doubt her cupboards are full to bursting.
