I was asked a question Guesty based on my post, sorry if I missed a reply from you.

I meant primarily people who had taken their own lives due to toxic trolling,  Caroline Flack for example. Online abuse is only a part of the shift in attitude in modern times but I think it is a valid point when people end their lives due to the mental cruelty.

Whoever you are,  stay safe x

it's to admin's credit they even let your self absorbed posts through.  and I'm talking Digger here, the person you're continually have a go at.   Do you think your agenda is hidden?    how many times are you going keep saying you got bullied on forums and thought about suicide?   if forums were that bad you stayed put and kept up your own brand of trolling.  Everything you say is bullshit gasl ighting nonsense.

Cut it fucking out - your talking about and reminding someone of their suicidal moments.  You need reporting mate.

Plumbing jobs dried up have they?lol

 What does this even mean?

You are given a platform to write your silly posts but you object to others who reply on topic and on positive threads like the Mothers Day one.

I would ask if you bother to contribute anything positive  to the forum but your so obsessed you wait with baited breath for someone to post just to tell them it isn't all about them...but you posting that over and over is making things all about them!!

It's only you that is obsessed so stop making a fool of yourself.

So example of how family units have changed and consequences.  In the past grandparents may have lived in the same house as their childrens family or nearby, and looked after by the family or extended family when aged.  Nowadays they live separately, possibly in different cities and even in different countries.  When they are aged they are shipped to care home facilities.

In Spain care homes have been found abandoned with several aged people found dead in their beds.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-52014023

I saw that and couldn't believe it. The disdain for the elderly in caring homes is unjust and a totally abhorrent attitude as it is, but that really shows the lack of morals in people now. Something is very wrong with society today.

The lack of empathy for others is making some individuals borderline sociopathic. I agree Guesty,  when family stayed together and remained close people innately cared more and had compassion.

Sadly compassion for each other,  which is essential for a content productive society, seems to be evaporating and a chilling indifferent void left in it's place.

How anyone could abandon old vulnerable people in care homes to die of neglect is inhumane.

How can that happen in a supposedly civilised country like Spain....who will be next?...what has happened to people that they can act that way?

The world has gone mad.

I assumed, judging from other things this type of "commentator" posts, that it was a sexual innuendo directed towards a male.

It is important to recognize those that are "well meaning" from those that aren't "well meaning" - which includes the trolls, the aggrieved and the obsessive.  You can't reason with some of them.  In real life you would have to keep your distance from them or fight them or lock them up.

A while ago I read an article by a PhD who decided he preferred to walk the beat and be a policeman - he gave some interesting insights into sizing up people he met - some he could talk to and reason with others he had to decide when to throw a punch before they did.  I can't remember where I read it - but that was essentially his take home message for these sort of encounters.
