A 21-year-old woman with no pre-existing medical conditions has died from the coronavirus, her family has said.

Chloe Middleton is thought to be the youngest victim in the UK to have no underlying medical conditions.

Her mother Diane Middleton posted a heartbreaking tribute to her daughter today on social media.

Writing on Facebook Mrs Middleton, who lives in Buckinghamshire said: 'To all the people out there that thinks it's just a virus please think again speaking from a personal experience this so called virus has taken the life of my 21 year old daughter.'

Tragic, and it's brought this pandemic up another notch.
So far the vast majority who have died have been older, the younger ones have all had underlying health problems.
This young girl did not.

No casualty/death numbers for England today - very odd indeed.

I wonder if there has been some sort of error and the figures have been lost.

It is strange. I think however it is due to the 21 year old dying, with no underlying conditions. Her auntie apparently said online that she had no underlying conditions. To my knowledge it will be the first person in the UK to die who doesn't have underlying conditions. I've seen the figures most days and don't recall an occasion where it didn't say that all who died had underlying conditions. Surely the auntie is telling the truth. Must be. But it does seem strange that we have a delay today.

Nevertheless this illness clearly isn't only dangerous just for the old/vulnerable. There are a few examples around the world that say otherwise.

Far more than a few from the figures I have been reading, I wonder if it is mutating slightly?

Who knows. But if we are too completely believe China those who died there were overwhelmingly old/vulnerable.

Could be this kid's immune system wasn't up to scratch. Just because you're young doesn't mean you have a good immune system.

Some young and healthy people will die. There could be myriad reasons for that.

Why we should all be wary and monitor the disease while not succumbing to panic.

Ok I admit that I clapped for the NHS tonight and it was actually quite moving. Also reading that this virus could have killed 40 million people and it could now save 38 million worldwide so that's great news I suppose

I still think the government should give assurances that the world will stay the same though

Our neighbours came out and clapped, we could hear clapping and cheering from nearby streets, even fireworks were let off ......it was a real feel good moment to celebrate all the brilliant NHS workers.

I mean that is a good thing and the NHS has done a lot so they deserve it 100% Hopefully none of them get this virus because that would be very worrying if they do

I have no idea why these sites keep banning me. I am not doing anything wrong. I just am worried about how society is going to turn up. Im worried about when I am going to see my friends again, if I will be able to go back to uni in September and move in with my friends.

These sites just don't seem to care

Listen, your many doom riddled poor me posts will not hit the board, so save yourself the time and trouble of writing them.

One last time...you were banned from here and other sites because you are very abusive and it wont be tolerated, you had warnings, you didn't listen.

Everybody is worried and anxious at this time, not just you, try looking outwards instead of inwards all the time.

People do care, but forums are not the place to expect in depth therapy for long term problems....alternatively they don't have to tolerate trolls if they don't wish to.

If you do have anything constructive to add to any thread in Whine they possibly will be approved.

The only problems I have are worrying when I am going to be able to see my friends again, weather I will be able to move in with them in September, if uni will reopen in September and how its going to turn out for me.

Plus im due to start a work placement in April next year so I am worried what will happen with that as well.

So its not the long term issues, its because of this virus that is making me scared and worried like this. I just wish I could have a answer now

You got banned from here for being abusive. Wishing us dead from this virus. Not good Sam.

You need to think before you speak. People care Sam. Did the pet forum oust you too.

I just hope you didn’t wish a pet to die as well.

We are all worried about what will happen, but you just have to make the best of it until

there comes a time that it is safe to go outside properly again.

Surely you can email or ring your friends?

Hopefully by September things will be back to normal and you can get on with your life.

Well you cant have an answer now because no one knows for definite what will happen in a few weeks, even a few months.

The forecast is if fewer people get it now it will be better for everyone because the fewer people who need NHS services at any one time will enable the NHS to cope better., that means more lives will be saved...which is exactly why people are having to isolate right now. The less people who comply the longer this will go on and the more people will die.

So taking that into consideration, being separated for your girlfriend and uni friends is a small price to pay.....many people are making far bigger sacrifices than you.
