 I remember when he was a little boy, Wogan used to have him on his show valuing antiques, I think later it came it was all a scam anyway and he knew little about them.

 

After his transition she was on CBB, I think it was obvious then she was a bit mentally unbalanced. I felt sorry for her, it cant be easy being so terribly mixed up in mind and body.

 I don't think she's mentally unbalanced.   A bit eccentric.   And having to endure a sex change after feeling female in a male body is enough of a mental challenge for anyone, never mind the physical side.   I think people can be odd without being mentally unwell.

 I suppose it depends on where you draw the line  between being mentally unbalanced and being eccentric.

Also, how does she see herself. She certainly doesn't see herself as normal.

 Very true. It's hard to understand that level of mental pressure day in day out for years and what effect it has on the individual.

Which is why I get a bit pissed off with the 'I'm trans so let me in the girls loos in my jeans t shirt and beard' brigade who've trivialised the issue IMO.

 I admire anyone who can put themselves through that, and they don't deserve to be reviled.   I've known a few trans people, and they were all lovely people.

 Same here. The genuine ones tend to be more authentic people in character.

I don't think so, going by what I saw this morning on Facebook they're as awful as ever. And don't even get me started on Twitter because i'll never stop.
