RIP to a true Great Briton.

Not much to say really except the Doctor was the very definition of a living legend and was still working until the end - at 108!

I just thought some guests as well as members would have liked to have known about him in these difficult times so I posted it on here - there are many excellent articles about the great man online - a truly inspirational figure. nod

I confess I hadn't heard of him, but he was obviously a great man who lived to a great age.
I doubt many people, no matter how old they live to, could look back on such an extraordinary life.

Thanks for replying Syl - the fact that he went under the radar when Z-List 'celebrities' are so bloody famous now really annoys me.

 True, but I doubt he wanted false praise, and he wouldn't have fallen under the radar from the people who mattered to him.

The best people do what they do to help mankind, they dont need applause.
