We're having a round of applause for the Prime Minister tonight at 8pm, so get clapping and hopefully Boris will be home soon.

In other news, a record 854 people died in the UK yesterday from Coronavirus.

That's a total of 6,227 know victims.

Stay safe folks and stay at home!!

I feel genuinly upset and concerned for him and his family. I quite like the fella, politics irrelevent.

It's also making me revise my opinion on how universally dangerous this virus is.

 Hello Doc, it's me.

Yes I'm concerned for Boris as well, I hope he makes a full recovery and is back home soon.

Some people think it's outrageous, I'm Scottish and a Conservative but I say I would rather be a Tory than a Nat.

Horrible party the SNP.

I will be clapping for him tonight.

I hope he gets better quickly.

I have been genuinely surprised at the job he has done since becoming PM, and Labour sniping from the sidelines at his handling of the crisis just makes them look like cheap opportunists.

Thank God Corybn and his muse Abbott did not win!

Hi Vick, yes get what your saying. There's not many viable alternatives in todays political climate.

The left is no longer representing working people these days.

Corbyn would have dismissed the death toll because it's made up of white patriarchal elderly males

Abbot would have added up the figures wrong

And she would have objected to social distancing as harassment of minorities.

Hey Vicky. Hope you are keeping well in these tough times.

The numbers are tragic. As far as numbers go though(these are people of course) a trend is what to look out for a single day doesn't always tell us that much at all overall. And unfortunately deaths will be the last thing to drop steeply, Hospital admissions and new daily confirmed cases will drop before deaths.

I'd clap for Boris. In fact I already do on a Thursday. Clap for the Government along with the NHS etc of course. Because this is an incredibly hard situation for them as well. Almost more than anyone else in fact. Because its an unprecedented situation. And 67 million people are looking to them more than practically ever before in History. Also this man is the person who finally got Brexit over the line. And now this horrific situation is here.

It tries to. Sadly people working in low paid jobs have become too prejudiced and ignorant to actually be left. It's more accurate to say people would rather be poor and patronised than helped to feed their family as long as there are less immigrants about.

The bankers get the big bucks. The NHS immigrant whether they be  cleaners or surgeons get paid a pittance. The virus had proved who deserves to be applauded and paid their worth.  Jeffery Hunt insisted there was no funding left for the NHS staff, the same staff putting their lives on the line for us now.   But yeah all hail the Tories. bored

You display a typical middle class view of the lower classes as pig stupid and racist.  Well done and fuck off.

No even my dad voted Conservative at the last election and he was one of the one's who lost his job when the Steelworks closed here because of Maggie.

Said he couldn't vote for Labour or the SNP and not voting at all was against his principles.

I didn’t clap for Boris. I hope he makes a full recovery though as I wouldn’t wish the virus on anyone.

I'm hoping if any good thing comes from this is it's the realisation that those minimum wage workers who many see as insignificent grunts are finally appreciated for the essential work they do.

I did, I felt slightly stupid as no one else in our road did, but I still did it anyway.

I am genuinely upset he has ben stopped in his tracks by this bloody plague......he and his team were doing brilliant work.

It was mentioned too late in the day. No idea who came up with the idea. I heard it was first going to be just in Sussex for some reason. Was he born there? And then later people said do it all over the Country.

Anyway as I say I clap on a Thursday for Boris and Government along with NHS etc of course. Government need it as well. Because this is an unprecedented time.
