Not a feelgood drama in any sense of the word.
If there's one thing I can't stomach, it's injustice.
Sadly Henri lied and was talking utter bollocks in the novel - thus the film is such as well - the brutal conditions and punishments were correct but he did not go through them to the extent he said and his actions were those of other people.
Not surprising really - few murderers in real life are heroic figures outside of Hollywood blockbusters.
