Free speech simple as that - one group/religion should not be above criticism, especially due to the threat of violence.

Comments sections 'moderated in advance', no reports whatsoever about Netanyahu trial and claims of anti Semitism if anybody does criticise anything to do with them. How is that upholding your 'free speech' theory?

I'm not I can see cartoons like them anytime on the net - it's the hypocrisy and cowardice of the British authorities that annoys me, especially when it happened going on about free speech and yet being the only nation too gutless to publish them in protest at the massacre.

I know posts that contain no profanity and no trolling don't reach the board so you decide what is published, just as the BBC and others are free to decide what is and isn't published.

Free speech is actually the ability to say things without the government/authorities arresting you or punishing you. It isn't freedom to abuse someone or some group.

Free speech isn't the same as the freedom to say what you want on someone's forum. Free speech means the government won't prosecute you for what you say.

But Jews are the most prominent religiouis group in world banking .... why can't people say that?

If people think the Jews are controlling American foriegn policy why can't they say it?

The Jewish people it seems to me want .... want to be the forever victimised people so therefore forever protected people .... why can't other people be this protected in a free world?

Because it would grind to a halt ..... al discussion and opinion that is would grind to a halt.

You already are dictated to about what you can think about minority groups .... if you can't say it then it's not right to think it .... I don't think people realise where all this is leading.

Equal rights for AI soon because they can't form an independant point of view or be wrong ..... so why should you be afforded such luxury?

OK it might be a bit over the top but it's where you are willingly heading.

I couldn't care less whether they are published again or not, here or anywhere else, they dont bother me, but I am not Muslim so why would they?
If I was religious I may find derogatory cartoons about Jesus or the bible offensive, but I would respect a persons right to publish them if they were within the law of the land.
