Do they Doc, I've never had a cat.

My Labs did it but my Westie I've got now doesn't.

I've had to be her a bell because she's been stalking the baby birds around the garden, apparently terriers have a high prey drive.

The bells quite handy around the house as well because I can hear where she is and she's usually up to no good.

I'm reading a book by Ann Rule just now 'The Stranger Beside Me' Ann was a policewoman who retired from the force to bring up her children and a few years later got a job doing the Tuesday shift at a crisis centre.

Theodore Bundy was the nice young man who did the shift with her, to say Ann was surprised when Ted turned out to be a deranged serial killer is an under statement.

Anyway...

It mentions a few 'Jane Does' in the book and I was looking them up and there's 40,000 unidentified young women been found dead in America.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_Miss_Nobody_case

Take the case of 'Little Miss Nobody'

White child aged between 2-9, found with dyed red hair and painted toenails and fingernails in 1958.

You would think someone would have reported her missing/come forward when her body was found.

I read that book. Very good and shocking too. Goes to show the face we put on in public can't be trusted in all cases.

Yes and chatter at birds in their sleep too. Also Mac likes to let out long sleepy yowls during one of his nemerous naps.

Mac's a good name, a friend of mine has just got a wee pup and called him Mac.

He's got two other labs and apparently Mac is bossing them about.

I think i'll have to get dog clippers, Daisy is starting to look like a wee scruffbag and the groomer can't come to the house.

It can't be that difficult, well I hope not.

I've just got to the part where one of the girls (Carol DaRonch) manages to get away from him.

Put the handcuffs on one wrist and as she was fighting him off, he put the other handcuff on the same wrist and she escaped and flagged down a couple who took her to the police station.

He got hundreds of marriage proposals in prison, strange these women who write to monsters in jail.

Legend has it everyone in Florida switched the electricity off at the time of his execution to make sure they had enough juice to fry him.

Folk outside the prison wearing "Burn Bundy Burn" tee-shirts and waving frying pans.

A very evil 'man'

It's short for tarmac as he's black and white lol.

Never tried to groom a dog sounds like it could be tricky.

It's amazing the amount of women who were attracted to him even after his crimes were known. Amazing that some stiff felt he was innocent. He was pure psychopathic material, charming, manipulative and without a shred of morality.

Not sure if he married her, but he def got one pregnant during conjugal visits.crazy

Not sure I'd want my child fathered by a monster, but there you go, some people are weird.

All Ann Rule books are good. Her police contacts stand her in good stead writing in this true crime genre.

Well a plant would have far more brains than the women dreaming about bedding a serial killer.

It seems we're going to be allowed ten friends we can visit when lockdown is relaxed soon, so I i'll add my cousin to my list.

She cuts her own dogs hair, so she can cut Daisy's.

It would be too difficult holding Daisy with one hand and running clippers over her with the other hand.

Plus she's a hairdresser so she can give me a trim as well.

That woman he married and had a daughter with was convinced he was innocent, she only believed he was guilty when he started confessing and that was only to try and stay his execution. Not out of any remorse and wanting to end the families suffering because they didn't know if their daughters were alive or dead.

@Guest if you like Ann Rule, you should check out Kathryn Casey's books.

Her crime books are excellent as well.

Please make sure she doesn't get the clippers mixed up or the subjects. You could come out looking and smelling like a shitsoo.

Watching Sky News and so many people are ignoring the guidelines again.

The fines should be increased and the coppers cracking down much harder on these selfish fuckers - no wonder we will soon be overtaking Spain, France and Italy in the number of deaths with only the US ahead of us.

A total of 813 victims gone in the last 24 hours but many don't seem to give a shit.

Previous generations were asked to go to war - all we have to do is have a cuppa and watch the telly.
